I go to a non-denominational church because I don't like the legalism of "relilgion". Religion is man made legalism, rules, rituals, and regulations on how to worship God. Religion makes a relationship with God way to confusing and difficult. Non denominational is a "free" church in which we are able to worship god as we please and have a relationship with him that is genuine and from the heart (not because some man told us what to do).

None,

i quit going to church when i was fifteen.

got tired of a minister preaching what was right and wrong and condeming me for my sins.

well at least I was not sleeping with the ladies in the congregation.

No this was not a catholic church, but a lutheran one.

the pastor was married and had three kids that I went to school with.

After that I told him he was a hipocrit and i have never stepped inside that church again only for funerals and weddings.

I don't need no hipocrits telling me how to live my life. And no he is not there anymore they got rid of him.

but I just have my own way of praising my god.

i don't need to go to no church or be in some religion to believe.

I am 43 years old and I have not been to a sunday service in almost 20 years.

The church just is a dillusion all they want is money anyhow.

It really broke my trust when that minister did this.

I will never go back.

I meet with a group of people that study the Bible. They have trusted and believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. He did it all. If that makes me a cult then so be. 1 Corinthians 3: 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 1 Corinthians 3: 4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

None. I was made to go to Chapel(catholic) from the age of five and I hated every minute of it. I think that if I had been left to make my own choice when I was old enough, I might have become religious. It's a shame that youngsters have something drummed into them at such an early age. Would you be able to choose a career path when you were five??

There is only one church. Nobody goes to it, because the church is people. Those people will be revealed as the saints on the last day, and everyone else will be condemned.
