The Lord does have a heart, if he didn't have one you wouldn't have one. We are made in his image, the Bibles says we are the apple of his eye. Having Jesus in your heart means having a personal relationship with Him, when you get Born Again, John 3:3, the Holy Spirit will come and live inside your heart. If you do not have this then you are not saved and born again, this is why you see alot of people today who claim to be Christian and even go to Church on Sunday but don't talk or live like it during the week, they are not really saved, they are just playing Christian. The church is full of them today. You are right in one sense and it is that there is more to it than people think, When you get really saved a change begins to take place in your life, it may take a while to make the correct changes but you will slowly make them. Sometimes people have to move away from where they live to really get right after being saved, If a person really gets saved their prioritys change in their heart because of the personal relationship with Jesus. But what a peace and a joy you have in your heart, there is no words that can describe it. You lay down at night in peace. If you would like to be saved you canbe right now, just pray this sinners pray of faith believing with all your heart, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Jesus sais "No man cometh unto Me except the Father in heaven draw him, and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out (reject)" The Lord Loves you so much that it is not possible for Him to love you more than He does right now. You have the ability to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as it is something which is "built in" to you. If you will simply do that, the Holy Spirit then takes over and performs the new birth and you are then "Sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption" Ephesians 4:30 refers

No one can accept the Lord without the Lord first accepting them. Jesus says no one can come to Him unless the Father draws him. God is the one who initiates the relationship with man to Himself. No one in scripture ever went to God without God first coming to them and revealing Himself to them. It is from the heart of God that we are shown mercy. Jesus is the heart of God. We are created in the image of God, so if God does not have a heart then neither do we. Our definition of love is totally different and does not compare to God's love. The bible says God is love and no sinful human being can ever say that. Most of what we call love, God calls sin. No one can find God because came to seek and to save them. No one can work their way or earn their way to God. You cannot gain salvation by anything you do. There are many people who sincerely believe they have accepted Jesus but the Jesus they have accepted is another Jesus and not the Jesus of the bible. You cannot make your own Jesus and if they don't believe in the real one they are still lost. That is why Jesus said that many are going to say to Him on that day Lord, Lord, have we not done all these works and He is going to say to them I never knew you. If the Lord does not know them and He's God, then how could they know Him. God is grieved in Hiis heart because man rejects Him and ignores Him, and no one, not even God can be grieved unless they have a heart.

The Lord doesn't need to accept you into his heart. He loves you regardless. His love is unconditional. However, I know there are people who teach that "accepting him into your heart" gives you salvation. You obviously are smart enough to know that it would take more than that to be saved. You are correct anyone can accept anyone. Please read the scriptures. It is a guide given by God to teach you. Don't let people teach you their opinion, (by asking Yahoo people, that is what you are going to get), whatever they teach you, have them show you in the Bible. Good Luck.

This depends on what "accepting" the Lord means to you. Personally, learning what this means is loving God. 1John5:3 reads, For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome,. God accepted us all when he sent His son Jesus. John 3:16.

yes, unless of course the lord is a scientologist.
in which case if you have not spent all your money on auditing. and do not suscribe to the belief that an intergalactic warlord alien came to the earth yada yada and that caused us to gain our intelligence, etc. (didn't bother to finish- you lost me at the intergalactic warlord alien), then god will disassociate you and it will not matter.
the only thing you can do to have god put you in his heart would be to get him out of "that fruity little club" before its too late.

The LORD has a mouth that can be used to puke you out of his self if you are neither hot nor cold! Sure sign of rejection that Christians refuse to ponder upon! Only dogs return to eat their vomit says the Bible!

Psalm 91:14-16
Because he (speaking of you) hath set his love upon me,
therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high,
because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me,
and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him,
and honour him.
With long life with I satisfy him,
and shew him my salvation.

You have to be a good person, blind faith is secondary to that, So quite a lot of preachers and fundies are going to hell (if such a place outside France exists).
