BVM is very real.
Private revelations,like Medj,need not be accepted by Catholics even if approved and sponsored by the Church. Medj is not approved by the Church,not yet, anyway
Mary is the Queen of prophets and her Magnificat in Luke1 is a prophecy.

The Virgin Mary was a real person. Then she died.
I do not believe that God would use a dead person to tell us anything.
She is not a prophet of God. We do not need prophets in this day and age because back before Jesus walked the earth, there was a need for them and now there is not because we have the bible. The bible tells us what is going to happen.

we will know when we get there...but in the mean time
think about this. Your married, and your wife comes home pregnant....youve never had sex with her....and she tells you im pregnant, its a miracle! Now honsetly what are you going to think.....things that make you go hmmmmm.

She was a virgin at the time of Christs birth....but no longer is..cause she took Joseph as her husband..........and she was real then ...........but she is no longer here on earth !!
And to the Catholics..she was just a women.........no more no less..............
