Hello Friends! I pray that you are all doing well today.
I hate to tell you this, but no one gives God all that He deserves.
We do not give God even half of what He deserves and yet,
He gives us so much more than what we deserve.
It started with His Son and He has been heaping blessings on us ever since.
All God wants is our heart,
and we give it to Him,
and so many times take it back,
and place it somewhere else.
But, still God continues to give and give.
I have experienced this first hand.
Let's take a moment to pray and thank Him this morning
for giving us more than we deserve.
He deserves that, doesn't He?
You are taking the time to ask and answer questions,
so you must have the time to thank our Creator.

I hope you have been blessed this morning. Not by me, but by God. I love you all, Cat

We can never outgive God.

Everything we have is all His. As His servant, all we need to do is to take good care of it and use it for His greater glory. Not for self gain.

I could give God everything I have and it still wouldn't be what he deserves.

But all he asked of me was my reasonable service and that is what I try to do.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

God wants our Obedience. This is where we fail him for we are at war with God. None seek after him not even one. The Bible says, "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."
Only through the filter of Christ blood can we appear holy before God. This is God's gift to us. Through repentance and faith we are saved.

But those who reject God's sacrifice for us WILL get what they deserve. "For the wages of sin are death". What horror to have to face the wrath of God. Can you even imagine?

It would seem that your message was to work your way into His good graces. I wouldn't do that, but I'm not you.

Give to God what He asks, that you trust Him. And as you trust Him His Spirit will give you what you need, according to His will.

God requires our trust, so trust Him for what He said, what He did. And His grace will abound towards you!

3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:

6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
( Psalm 37 )

Reminds me of an old joke. Three men discuss how they determine their donations to their house of worship. One man says he draws a circle on the ground, and throws his money in the air. Whatever lands in the circle goes to god, the rest he keeps. The next man says he does the same thing, except whatever lands in the circle he keeps, the rest goes to god. the third man says he does something similar, but without the circle. He throws his money in the air, and whatever god catches, he can keep.

Makes sense. After all, there's no reason to believe that god gave you anything, so why should you give him anything?

I can never give God what He deserves, because that far exceeds anything I am capable of doing.

Amen sister.....

Let's reverse that for a moment:
If God gave us what we deserved.......we would all be dead.

But thank Him for His mercy & grace that He gave us at the cross!
