Stop that! Don't even think about eating one of them... or if you do.. I will banish you to an eternity in Hell... Oh yeah.. and all your evil lil ancestors as well ...... so now.. where was I? IOh yeah.. thats' right ... so unless you follow these other stupid rules... now lets see... lets start with 1) .... awwr forget about it..... I'll write you a concrete list and get back to you.

So you two... now stay the hell of of my sweet lil apple tree, Adam! ... yeah and that goes for you too Eve! Stay away from that snake thingy there.... or you will both be wearing fig leaves!

Does this sound like a mentally balanced deity to you?

Truthfully?

You truely believe in your god(s) correct? I was thinking, do you ever think of the older relgions? Those people followed their gods just as you did and believed in them just as much as(if not more than) you. They truely believed that they were correct, but many of those religions ceased to exist... so, couldnt you accept that you COULD be wrong as well?

I was just thinking about it after I researched some related questions and saw some of the answers written by Christian people. A good deal (not all) of them seemed very poorly supported, narrow-minded, and most of all, completely lacking the love and kindness that Christ vowed we should show our neighbor. When asking myself why it could be that way, I concluded that perhaps legalism as pervaded PARTS (not all) of the church; it seems like a pretty decent, if partial, answer. I'm a Christian myself, and I have no problem with people being gay or interfaith marriages; I also don't have a problem with people who don't agree with those things. What I DO have a problem with is when people from either side are rude, hurtful, or give the reason of "Just because"--and honestly, it seems to come much more often from the Christian side. This worries me, because if a call of Christians is to live as a beacon of love, what kind of message are we communicating with this?

When Jesus spoke to God...was he then talking to himself?
Why would an all knowing and seeing being want to talk to himself?

King James Version
Genesis 1
Ge 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Ge 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Ge 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Ge 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Ge 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Ge 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Ge 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Ge 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Ge 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

As you can tell this simply doesn't make sense, if God created light on the first day and we know that the sun is what gives the light to the earth than why does he again create lights on the 4th day? What day was the sun actually created the 1st or the 4th?

I was in my Church, and after the mass I saw this young woman sitting in the back pew. And after mass I'm very polite, and I always say bye to everyone, even those I don't know by name.

Anyways, as I passed this woman I smiled and said "God bless, peace be with you", as I say to everyone else, but this woman got EXTREMELY angry with me.

She starts shouting that there is no God, and as an Athiest she finds my comment "ridiculous and offensive" and she bloody thinks I was trying to "convert her"

I was actually very shocked. I just assumed she was Christian.. and I apologized but she was still angry.

I don't think it is normal to act so strongly???
=(

God wrote the Bible, so everything in it is true! How do I know God wrote the Bible, The Bible says he did.
The logic in that argument escapes me!
Or perhaps a better question is "Is there ANYTHING outside of The Bible (or other religious book) that makes you believe in God, A Higher Being, Allah, Great Spirit, whatever you chose to call Him, it.

Please help!

Thank You!

I am a non Christian that has to do a project over Christianity. These questions seem simple, but when ever I look on the Internet, there are more than one answers on each site.

Where did Christianity originate? Jerusalem?

Who was the founder of Christianity? I see some sites with Jesus and some with Paul.

Thanks.

What do you think we will eat for dinner at the marriage supper of the Lamb? Imagine how big the table will be to have room for all of us. Do you think we will be able to see Jesus no matter where we are?

Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Then when i was outside waiting in the front yard for my mom i was pretending to fall on the steps joking to myself that a gaurdian angel was around.Twice i pretended to fall & nothing happened, the third time i accidently misplaced my foot & was about to fall but amazingly somehow regained my balance & FELT LIKE SOMEONE WAS IN MY PRESENCE! wat is this?!nothing else happend though!
