Hey, I'm back, yeah, been gone a while if you havent' noticed.

anyway how many of you were taught evolution as fact in public school? I was, and though, it mentions about ONCE in the biology book I had that evolution was a theory, it taught it as fact.

Why won't they teach other theories too? any bright ideas, or are you confused by the lack of logic of the liberals who run our school systems?

As you know, if everyone was logical, there would be no liberals...ok that's my opinion, but plz answer the question!!!

I just wanted to suggest this book for them, "Mathematics for Kindergarten"

But if they said 1+1+1=111, I'd say they'd seriously have check-in to their closest mental-hospital.

alrite. I base my logic on the "a priori" false.
just as there is no such thing as a married bachelor,
an opaque object that is transparent,
and things that are by definition false,

I can disprove the existence of the FSM.

1.) spaghetti is made of starch
2.) starch is a molecule
3.) molecules consist of matter
4.) matter is bound by the laws of physics
5.) the law of conservation of energy must be bent in order for the universe to be created
6.) seeing as how starch molecules cannot defy the laws of physics
7.) thus, the existence of the FSM that created the universe is thus disproven.

Washington DC, November 8 (CNA).-Pat Robertson, televangelist and founder of the Christian Coalition, on Wednesday endorsed the socially liberal Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani.

"It is my pleasure to announce my support for America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, a proven leader who is not afraid of what lies ahead and who will cast a hopeful vision for all Americans," Robertson said during a news conference with Giuliani in Washington.

Giuliani, former mayor of New York, supports abortion rights and homosexual rights despite the Republican Party's official stands against such issues.

Robertson, who made an unsuccessful presidential bid in 1988, is also the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network, the Christian Coalition and Regent University. Shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Robertson claimed in a statement that the attacks occurred because Americans had insulted God and lost the protection of heaven by "allowing abortion and rampant internet pornography."

Robertson did not mention his differences with Giuliani on social issues in Wednesday's statement.

You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years).........but you find NOTHING wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

my overall point is that morality is instinct and my argument is based mainly on biology and psychology.

i am still at the stage of gathering ideas, and any opposing ideas would be useful, so long as they are well made

The results of at least one study are consistent with despair being a cause of the attacks.

A 2007 study in Afghanistan, one country with a growing number of suicide bombings, found "80%" of the suicide attackers had some kind of physical or mental disability.

A study of the remains of 110 suicide bombers for the first part of 2007 by Afghan pathologist Dr. Yusef Yadgari, found 80% were missing limbs, suffered from cancer, leprosy, or some other ailments.

Also in contrast to earlier findings of suicide bombers, the Afghan bombers were "not celebrated like their counterparts in other Arab nations.

Unlike other Islamic countries, "Afghan bombers are not featured on posters or in videos as martyrs."

If the supposed God created all of us and loves us all, then why should it matter if we do bad things? Doesn't that mean that we are going to heaven anyway? He made us a certain way, which means that he set us up to sin to a certain extent one way or another. Therefore, it is not our fault that we are the way that we are. That means that everyone is going to heaven no matter what. So why worry?

Someone answered a question earlier today, stating that if a person could find a mistake or flaw in the laws of mathematics then he would agree, like the Bible ,math should be scrapped and tossed iinto the trash heap of history. Does anyone else feel that mathematics is flawless?

animals have sex because they have the urge. they do NOT think, "i wouldnt mind some little nippers" .
it is an instinct driving them to ensure survival of their own genes.

do christians honestly believe that the human desire for sex is any different?

why do men like young and pretty girls? because they are very good candidates for being fertile, disease free, and healthy mothers of their children. Men DONT think that literally, but their INSTINCTS tell them that young and pretty is good.

i really have a hard time trying to understand people who cannot accept the massive influence of evolution on human psychology.
