.IF PEOPLE were to read the Bible from cover to cover without any preconceived idea of a Trinity, would they arrive at such a concept on their own? Not at all.
What comes through very clearly to an impartial reader is that God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, separate and distinct from anyone else, and that Jesus, even in his prehuman existence, is also separate and distinct, a created being, subordinate to God.
God Is One, Not Three
THE Bible teaching that God is one is called monotheism. And L. L. Paine, professor of ecclesiastical history, indicates that monotheism in its purest form does not allow for a Trinity: "The Old Testament is strictly monotheistic. God is a single personal being. The idea that a trinity is to be found there . . . is utterly without foundation."
Was there any change from monotheism after Jesus came to the earth? Paine answers: "On this point there is no break between the Old Testament and the New. The monotheistic tradition is continued. Jesus was a Jew, trained by Jewish parents in the Old Testament scriptures. His teaching was Jewish to the core; a new gospel indeed, but not a new theology. . . . And he accepted as his own belief the great text of Jewish monotheism: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one God.'"
Those words are found at Deuteronomy 6:4. The Catholic New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) here reads: "Listen, Israel: Yahweh our God is the one, the only Yahweh."* In the grammar of that verse, the word "one" has no plural modifiers to suggest that it means anything but one individual.
The Christian apostle Paul did not indicate any change in the nature of God either, even after Jesus came to the earth. He wrote: "God is only one."—Galatians 3:20; see also 1 Corinthians 8:4-6.
Thousands of times throughout the Bible, God is spoken of as one person. When he speaks, it is as one undivided individual. The Bible could not be any clearer on this. As God states: "I am Jehovah. That is my name; and to no one else shall I give my own glory." (Isaiah 42:8) "I am Yahweh your God . . . You shall have no gods except me." (Italics ours.)—Exodus 20:2, 3, JB.
Why would all the God-inspired Bible writers speak of God as one person if he were actually three persons? What purpose would that serve, except to mislead people? Surely, if God were composed of three persons, he would have had his Bible writers make it abundantly clear so that there could be no doubt about it. At least the writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures who had personal contact with God's own Son would have done so. But they did not.
Instead, what the Bible writers did make abundantly clear is that God is one Person—a unique, unpartitioned Being who has no equal: "I am Jehovah, and there is no one else. With the exception of me there is no God." (Isaiah 45:5) "You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth."—Psalm 83:18.

You are correct , they certainly argue among them selves.
The facts are that Christians MUST believe that God and Jesus and the Holy ghost are one and the same, 3 in one!(Holy Trinity)
If they don't believe that they are not Christians!. Oh one other major item they must believe , is that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, and he was resurrected from the dead.
If you had addressed this question to Christians only, you would have had a similar response , all debating the point.
Christians of course have the only religion that preaches (and is supposed to teach) along those lines , most other religions including Muslims and Jews belive Jesus was a Prophet, to be respected .
Muslims also belive that Jesus did not get crucified, some one took his place.
Religion is a very interesting subject, but the more you get into it the more you will understand that it is all a load of BS, it would certainly impress me more if they knew what they were talking about.

This is, and probably always will be, a hotly-disputed topic. There is scriptural evidence to support both points of view, depending on how one chooses to interpret the scriptures of course.
Personally, I feel that the weight of evidence supports the belief that Jesus and God are separate persons (see Acts 9: 5,17,20 for some examples). I can understand why some would take Hebrews 1:8 as proof that Jesus and God are one and the same though. As for the Holy Spirit, Jesus' words in Acts 1:8 indicate to me that it would be an active force rather than a person.

Jesus was killed because He claimed to be equal with God. He said that He and the father were one. When Jesus died He had to be sinless, this is only possible by God because the bible states that ALL have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Only by being sinless could He have fulfilled the law, as He predicted, and die as a substitute for us. Otherwise Christianity is meaningless and we would be back to the 10 commandments and killing cows and sheep each year.
E-mail me if you want more info and I would be interested to know where in the NT Jesus claimed not to be God.

Yes he is.
The data concerning this question is in the bible, but the revelation about such matters is spiritual and personal. It is OK and normal to develop spiritually. Too many 'believers' think they just get zapped and that's it - wrong! Believers are all on a journey and their spiritual understanding is being renewed gradually, (Rom12 + parable of the mustard seed). So, if you ask the same question in 10 years you should get different answers from the same people. If I am right about that, we need to be much more tolerant of each other and take to heart what it says about the disciples who knew Christ and who had seen everything including the ascension, 'When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.' Matthew 28v17 (NIV)

it rather is a query for somebody who believes in the two Jesus being God and the life of Allah. so a procedures as i be responsive to, there at the instant are not any those with such ideals (which might contradict besides). Muslims don't think Jesus substitute into God, yet that He substitute right into a Prophet and a guy, so God is limitlesly greater efficient. Christians might believe interior the different. it rather is the full considered faith - you do not believe in all of them, you think in what you planned to be the certainty.

Jesus says the Father and Him are one. He does claim to be God. The Holy Spirit came after Jesus ascendent to Heaven on the day known as pentecost. This story is found in Acts one and two. Read also John 1. Jesus is the word in the first verse. The very word of God. He became flesh. Jesus is known as the word.
Take time even if you do not believe to really find out what we believe and why. It might help some confusion about the Christian faith.

Read the Gospel of John if you want a little better understanding.
God has many parts. He is One God, but with more than one manifestation. Surely, you can see that the One who created the universe and all life here has the power to do this if He wishes.
How many parts does your car have? It may have thousands of parts, but it is still One car. When you look at your car, you really just see the paint and glass of the windshild. When you see that, you call it a car. But the engine and the drivetrain are just as much a part of the car as the paint, windows, steering wheel, and frame. All parts are part of a bigger picture. So it is with God, but it is a little more difficult to "put God in a box" and say "this is God." You're talking about a being that transcends our understanding. If we really understood everything about God, we would have to be as smart as God, which would make us equal to God.

Surah Al-Maaidah (Verse 116 - 119)
Testimony of Jesus on the Day of Judgement about the Christians
116. After reminding him of these favors, Allah will say: "O Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Marry), Did you ever say to the people, "worship me and my mother as gods beside Allah?" He will answer: "Glory to You! How could I say what I had no right to say? If I had ever said so, you would have certainly known it. You know what is in my heart, but I know not what is in Yours; for You have full knowledge of all the unseen.
117. I never said anything other than what You commanded me to say, that is to worship Allah, Who is my Rabb and your Rabb. I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them; but when You called me off, You were the Watcher over them and You are a Witness to everything.
118. If You punish them, they surely are Your servants; and if You forgive them, You are Mighty, Wise."
119. Allah will say: "This is the day on which the truthful will profit from their truth; they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow to live therein forever. Allah is well-pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is the mighty achievement."

peace be upon you
Jesus is not the God , i agree with that.
Also jesus is not the son of the God .
How God can't help himself from people betray him and want kill him?Isn't the God who know the past ,present and future ?isn't the God who control people and what they do?isn't the God who knows what we hide inside our hearts?
Is the gog need son? will he die and want one after him? if he want why one?why Jesus?why not many sons?Does the God unable to protect his son?
If you say ,Jesus is God or son of the God, by the way you suspect the ability of the God.
And we agree that we worship the God who create humans and world , sky ,sun , mountain ,plants,.......
With all that ,i believe in the Jesus ,the prophet of the God and his miracle , who was as Adam without father.
I am sure the jesus if here now ,was going to say ,i am the prophet of the God and i worship him.

Isaiah called Jesus Immanuel, meaning God with us.
If you don't post the verse in the bible that says what you say then how can we hear you?
