Sounds like our mate Constantine to me. he did a bloody good job of it too. 1600 years later people are still falling for it.

Well not right after Christ died. It was a few hundred years later that Constantine tried that.

I think they meant Constantine ...? And some claim the Christian movement was a political move to thwart the Persians in rome.
