This girl expereinced the Lord and changed from a hardened athiest to a God loving Christian.

The athiests are calling her crazy because of her video. They are saying that she is bipolar and manic. What do you think, is she crazy? Or has she seen the light?

Have you ever had the experience of having your relgious beliefs and practices brought up and used against you in court? I've seen this happen, with Pagan divorces, one half of the couple "finds Jesus," and Witch Hunts the other half. I knew a Wiccan guy who lost coustody and visitation rights with his kid this way. I've heard of it happening with other religions as well, usually when children are involved.

Have you ever experienced it first hand? On the other side, have you ever done it?-- used someone's beliefs as evidence against them in court? Would you?

Why does he always have to send messages through other people, doesn't he already know that if he talks to me personally in a way that doesn't imply mental disorder I'd gladly accept him? I mean, really, is it that hard for somthing that can do anything to make a personal appearance from time to time to answer my questions and everyone elses?

Make yourselves known.
Christians, Muslims, and other religious people...what do you think of that?
Am I going to hell or some other imaginary place of torment?
Can't say that I'm all that fearful of hell...check out the name.
I dare your god to personally come down and smite me, if he has the fuzzies...

First, assume you moved into an area and received a large postcard from a Church inviting you to church.

Then sometime, later what you think if a person from that Church came to your door and handed you a free mug, information about the community and the church and simply welcomed you to the community and invited you to church. Then if you did not want to make conversation I would politely leave.

Do you think this is intrusive? Do you find this offensive? Please give me your comments.

This is something I actually plan on doing in my area only to those that we have sent those postcards to and I just wanted to see what the R&S community would think.

Religion is defined as a set of common beliefs and practices held by a group of people, often including a complex mythology and faith.
"Religion is the organization of life around the depth dimensions of experience — varied in form, completeness, and clarity in accordance with the environing culture."

I contend that religion, at its base, is simply faith. Despite the many and varied differences between every religion that exists on earth, each religion has at least one thing in common - faith.

My question is this -

How do you define your personal religious beliefs? I don't mean to incite a riot, or have people firing back at each other. I'm curious about your basic faith.

(for a religious comparison paper I'm working on... :)

When it eats something that makes it sick he flies to the highest rock where he lays with wings spread, clinging to the rock until the sun draws out the poison and frees it to fly again. The Eagle has 2 natural enemies, the serpant who attacks their young and destroys their nests, and storms. The Eagle does not run from trouble or storms, he uses the currents to lift him to higher places. Females test an interested male by leading him on a chase threw the skies swooping and soaring higher, at the highest point she flips on her back and freefalls to the ground. The male places himself over her and grabs her talons and flaps his wings as hard as he can to save her from certain death. At the last minute before hitting the ground she flies out of the fall and circles him and they are mated for life because he was willing to stay with her even unto death.

There has been life on this planet for billions of years, humans have been on the planet for about 250,000 years. Before human's could come up with the idea of good and evil, was there good and evil? Was it evil for animals to kill and eat eachother for survival. Even in the bible, in genesis, God creates the animals first, then Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve only learned about good and evil when they ate the apple from the tree that gives them the knowlege of right and wrong. So was there right and wrong before humans existed?

...ethnic background? Does it factor into your religious beliefs, or lack there of, at all?

Me, I'm half Korea and...I'm going to assume half Caucasian. (I'm adopted and don't know my family history at all because it was a closed adoption)
My ethnicity has NOTHING to do with my beliefs. I believe in God because of His love for me.

Okay, your turn!

There can be no doubt that this generation is worse than Sodom. Just look around and see that everyone is a bunch of cross dresser’s and transvestites. Women like to wear the pants in the family and wearing their hair loosely and/or cutting it. There clothing, as a rule, is so immodest that they look as bad as any prostitute. What can be said about men, they cut their beards or shave them off completely, looking like they have the face of a woman, or closely to that of a woman. Many men think it good to have long or stylish hair. Most people have stood idly by and allowed this to take place. Clothing was given by God from the beginning. Before Adam and Eve first sinned they were not naked, they were clothed with light according to their nobility. When they became naked due to their own negligence God provided animal skins as a covering. There is no word as to what was done with the remainder of such animals, but I am sure they were not used for food. Then, later, God designed more clothing, specifically for men. These might be called britches, or as you might read in your bibles as “breeches”. These were given by God only for men to be seen wearing. God gave natural laws, pertaining to the whole human race, explaining that it is wrong for a woman to wear the apparel of a man, and vice-a-versa. I would recommend thinking twice about what we all are doing in such mixed up times as these where people ignore the common sense of things like this.
