Burned,
Sacrificed,
And even Sent to SPACE!!

In Tibet, there are Buddhist monks who layout a dead person on a fairly high platform, then play very long horns. The local vultures come down from wherever they live and literally devour the person's remains. To me that is the most natural way to dispose of a person's body and I'd love to have that done to me when it's my turn. However, the chances of my relatives going along with that and toting my body to Tibet are pretty slim, so I'll probably just get cremated.

Personally i dont care at all what is done with my body, but for those who stay behind i prefer to be burned.
My father was burned and i prefer it because there is nothing left from the body. I remember him in the home he lived.

Turned into ashes and a little bit put into little pill boxes and given to everyone who comes to my wake. They can all put the ashes where they feel is most appropriate to them. For example favourite places with good memories or if they did not like me they could put me in the bin!
Leave it up to them to decide, I will be gone, it is the ones left behind who matter.

I always fancied a Gothic tombstone but I'll probably be cremated...I guess it won't matter to me much when the time comes. Maybe there will be new ways to do it like quick freezing and then being crumbled to dust..who knows?

Ther whole concepts of funerals is barbaric!
As soon as I'm declared dead, they can take whatever organs can be used for transplants, & burn the rest!
As far as I'm concerened, they can flush my ashes down the toilet. I sure DON'T want anyone to have them!

My preference would be to repose under a marble life statue of myself looking dashingly young and handsome in my family's mausoleum.
