If God's law is be fertile and multiply then why when you become a priest they tell you that you have to be celebace? The one with the best and most detailed answer gets my vote. Use bible or other quotes as well!!!!!!

When you are in that "love bliss", do you notice strangers smiling at you and (almost) flirting with you? (more than normal)?

(It's a theory/hypothesis of mine, but I need to know your input before I consider including it in my next book. -- Thanks)

I see a lot of people who only affirm the spiritual "invisible" aspect of Christ's church, but deny the fact that it is also a visible institution.

In the book of Acts, these three offices are described:
Deacon (greek - diakonos / διάκονος )
Priest (greek - presbyteros / πρεσβυτερος )
Bishop (greek - episkopos / επίσκοπος )

This is the hierarchy already described in "Acts" in the Bible. And, those are the offices in the Catholic Church too. (Other titles are honorary. For example, Cardinals are just bishops, and the pope is actually a bishop too, but since his diocese is Rome, where Peter last ministered, he is the successor of Peter, and therefore "pope".)

Isnt it therefore correct that the 2000 year old Catholic Church, with Peter's successor as its earthly head, most closely resembles the Biblical Church?

If god is all powerful, then he could see into the future. so if he knows how each of us will end up, then there is a destiny. if there is a destiny then we don't have a choice. also if god is all-powerful then he created the "devil" and he created us. so he created a problem and a solution. hmmm.......doesn't sound very god like. when you think about it, why did he create us at all. he is all powerful, so the only reason to create us would be for his enjoyment. that's kinda selfish "god."
people need to stop having faith and use logic. seriously think about it. if you think you are insulting your god by questioning him, then that's not a god i would want to worship anyway.
do you agree?

How do you feel about the LDS church and the treatment of blacks prior to 1978? And after?

Was it really racist that black men could not become priests before 1978? Was 1978 a little late to accept blacks equally?

Was Brigham Young a racist?
"Why are so many of the inhabitants of the earth cursed with a skin of blackness? It comes in consequence of their fathers rejecting the power of the Holy Priesthood, and the law of God. They will go down to death" (Journal of Discourses, vol. 11, p. 272)

Lots of questions. Thanks for answering.

they dont know that what is written in the bible is true! god told me HIMSELF that the bible wasnt written the way he intended, he told me that his words were twisted around and used for the bad. he told me himself.

and before you tell me it wasnt, how do you know that what is written in the bible is true and how do you know god wasnt speaking to me? I want to know why Im wrong and you're right. He said so himself that you have all been mislead and that its about time you all learn his true ways.

If you are patient, please read the prior question "I want to go to God but have a lack of faith?" I am very co-dependent on others...meaning what people say or do really affect me. When I don't have friends around me or no one to hang out with I'm sad and when I'm not alone I'm happy. Tonight, there is church women's service, there is also a co-dependent anonymous meeting...a lot of the answers on the prior question was saying that I need therapy and need to love myself first instead of go to God for help. Is going to God because you have no where else to turn, a bad reason to go to him. Do I need to find faith in myself first before I go to God...or will he accept me the way I am.

What is the penalty of this sin/ disobedience?

By the way, I'm a high school student... a lot of my friends are either Christian or atheist.. mostly christian, but I actually know more about christianity than they do.. for I have read the bible, while they don't even go to church on Sundays..
I feel the need to tell them more about Islam.. but religion isn't really the topic teens like to talk about often..
