Is being called a Jew offensive to you or not? I know it probaly depends on who says it and how they're saying it but just in general, do you find it offensive?

Thanks! : )

I'd be more offended if you called me a Christian. Now that "the season" is upon us, I will be inundated with requests to honor the birthday of the Chiristian man-made god. The shops have been stocking for Christmas for over a month now. Is anyone offended by the commercialization of this serious religious holiday?

I'm Jewish.

I don't mind being called a Jew. It's not really offensive unless it's meant to be.

I feel the term "Jewess" however is offensive and inappropriate.

Peace

Hello

no, I dont consider it offensive. I am what I am and I am not embarrassed by it.

but then again almost any term can be twisted into a manner that is offensive.

I'm a Jew... what else would you call me? Is it offensive to call a Black, a Black... or an Italian, an Italian?
