I am not sure if someone had just died or had talked abt dying. Anyway, I remember thinking, when you die, that's it, there is NOTHING. Then I remember having this thought, I am going to die at 54. It seemed so clear.

Do you all think this will really happen? Will I die when I'm 54 and then there will be nothing? Do you believe in premonitions? Is this what that was?

BTW, I'm 47 so this means I have 7 yrs left.

You know when your tv just cuts out sometimes well this time it didnt go blank all that showed was a girls face, She looked serious. Before this happend I felt something in the room (like something was watching me) I felt cold. I drew a picture of what I thought she looked like and heres the scary but... The picture I saw on the tv looked exactly like the picture I drew. Long curly hair but in my picture she was smiling. Please Help! Am I going crazy or could their really be something or someone watching me?

Why is there so much ceremony and procedure in religious gatherings? I thought that when you go to church, you go there to learn about God and Jesus. But what I see is a bunch of dance routines and rigid procedures to turn a page in the Bible. What does all that have to do with God?

I asked this a few minutes ago, the majority of the answers I got were preachy. And I was even told I didn't ask a question. So I'm going to try this again ...

Christians deny the existence of every God except the one they worship. Many pagans don't acknowledge the Christian God or Satan (even though they are often accused of worshipping him). There are many people of all religious walks that don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster, fairies, trolls, etc.

The point is, to believe in one being does not mean you must accept *ALL* beings. So why do many people feel that agnostics are ambivalent towards EVERYTHING?

Believing in a God doesn't automatically mean an acceptance of all things supernatural. So why would agnosticism suggest this?

And he also says, that once Christ gone up with the skies, God questioned while saying:“Jesus! you have say: I am the God and son of God? “Jesus, in his opinion, answered: “Would be miséricordious towards me, Lord! You know that I did not say that and that I do not scorn to be your servant. But the bad men wrote that I had made this statement; they lied in my connection, and they are in the error "

Alright, I have browsed some of the things in this "religion" forum, and see that if you are an atheist or agnostic, people will either say that you are going to hell, that they pity you, or that you are just confused.

I happen to think that though, saying someone will go to hell for different beliefs is obviously offensive, I think that pity is much more insulting.

I am not religious, but I am a good person. I am not going to hell for not believing in a god. I don't need pity, because my attitude is good, and my faith is not non-existent. Just placed in a different form of thinking. I'm not lost or confused, I'm very certain in what I believe.

And, of course, I would not enforce a stereotype that all people of faith are close-minded and happy to get on a ten foot tall moral horse to look down at you from, but the people that say things like that, I don't understand why someone would deserve those comments unless they were an awful person.

Now, I don't want a war.
Your thoughts?

Did anyone else know that? Why don't x-tian missionaries tell us about it? I would've joined years ago!!!!!

Theocratic governments, shared with Mankind? I see many Muslim answerers here in YA mocking and insulting us and it makes me wonder what have they ever done for mankind. What have they to bragg about? Even their precious oil was discovered by Americans who even built their first oil wells.
This is just one of many antagonistics that loves to throw stones.

can it just be assumed some people do not want to know the Truth? For example Catholics do not believed we are saved by works and even though this has been said many many times the people who have heard this have turned around and continued to say the same thing that Catholics think they have been saved by works. My question then seems to be pretty much a no brainer---Are these people just not interested in the truth?

We need matter in order for things to excite. Matter is substance: that which has mass and occupies space; "an atom is the smallest indivisible unit of matter"

Scientist say that the "BIG BANG" came from nothing... how could everything be create if there was nothing... no substance??? It’s impossible.

I believe there was always something, and i believe God is time. Time has no beginning or an End, Time travels in light, God is light. God always was there and it will always excite. Without light there would be no life. Even in the bible tells us that God is light, scientist tells us that we need light for there to be life. God is the giver of life. Therefore he is time and light.

Here is some simple empirical eveidence:

Authority:
Catholics say it resides in the Church Christ established: The Church decides doctrine, as it did in the book of Acts regarding circumcision. This is why we have unity of faith among 1.3 billion Catholics, and why our teachings are exactly what the apostles and their successors have always taught for 2000 years.

Protestants say the Bible is he final authority. For a protestant, their doctrines come from their own scripture interpretations, which is why they have thousands of disagreeing denominations. Lutherans say you baptise babies, Baptists say you don't. Espicipalians say there is a priesthood, Fundies say there isn't. On and on.

The batlle cries of the protestant revolt in the 16th century were "Sola Fide" (Faith Alone) and "Sola Scriptura" (The Bible Alone). Both are false. Can't anyone see that?

"Sola Scriptura" (The Bible Alone) is obviously wrong for the reasons stated above.

And "Sola Fide" (Faith Alone)?

I was raised a mormon. My Dads whole side of the family is Mormon. There is like 50 of us. Growing up in the Church you are strongly encouraged to Bare your testimony before the Congregation. This is done the first sunday of every month. People volunteer to go infront of the Congregation and say why they know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder saints is the only True church. With the only living Prophet, and that Joseph smith was the First True prophet of the Church. And that he helped restore the church and essentially turn it into what it is today. When i was 14 or so i went infront of the congregation and bore my Testimony. I said i know that This is the only true church, that joseph smith was a prophet put here by god, and that i know the Book of Mormon is a true testiment of Jesus visiting the Americas. Then a couple of weeks later i went to Birmingham to be Ordained into the Melchezidik Priesthood. I was interviewed by one of the Top dogs. and he sat me down and before
