If this is true will you please explain why you have this doctrine? No offense, I just want to know because I find this is weird.

If a being came to you and said they were god, and showed you miracles, would you accept them as god if they denied being the god you worship? Let's say this happens and you pray to your god to disprove this one and no signs seem to come.
Or, for the atheists: If this being came to you claiming to be god and showing you miracles, and no matter what you do, you can't disprove them by any scientific means, would you accept them as god?
The miracle is mind-boggling, like the over-used story of resurrection, but let's say you know for a fact this person has been dead and buried for at least five years.
I'm just curious here.

I know, this is my opposite question day. :D

If you hate all christians, then I dont want to hear that. But, if you do have a person who, even though your beliefs are different, you respect and try to understand.

What set of instructions did Jesus leave us with? What are we suppose to be doing while we wait for his return?

At which general age would you say they are? Because if a 5 year old claims he believes in God it doesn't really warrant much respect as an opinion because he also probably believe Santa Clause and the Boogyman exist too.

Why do you constantly push the Bible? It will do nothing if they don't belive it. If I see those Genisis 19:30 or whatever thing, I'm atmaticly marking it as a thumbs down. I can't stand the Bible, and I imagion a lot of people can't. Just please, stop with the damn qoutes, keep church in church and if you see it on Yahoo! Answers, refrain from the qoutes.

I would be Mary Magdalene with a baseball bat asking for the popes attention ,because the catholic church has told the world that I am nothing more then a prostitute.

this is generally cause of all his preaching and following and the walking on water, turning water into wine and all that kinda stuff. So he'd be a well known figure in and around the Olive groves ya?

So why did the other poor bloke Judas have to identify him to the Romans?
Another question about Judasm how come his Gospel never got published?
I'd say jesus was well annoyed with him, What do you think?

There is only maximum life or maximum death. If you choose God and Jesus, then you will end up with maximum life in the New Heaven and New Earth. If you do not choose God and Jesus, then you will end up with maximum death - which will be the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. There are no middle or neutral grounds! It's all or nothing. It's God or the Devil. It's heaven or hell. It's maximum life or maximum death. It's really all black and white.

Think about it.

In Borders Books in Knoxville, Tennessee someone asked me if I wanted to go to a "really cool church." Now in a vacant lot in Tucson, Arizona I see a sign that says: "coming soon a cool church." What are they getting at?

What can prompt people to respond to freedom of expression as this woman does to Lars Vilks?
“One Swedish Muslim woman … said she hopes to make good on the al Qaeda threat and slaughter Vilks like a lamb.
"I can do this in the name of Allah, and I will not fail. I could slaughter him in the name of Allah," says the woman who identified herself only as Amatullah.”
“Dressed in a black burqa from head to toe and uttering death threat after death threat, the woman -- a wife and mother -- says she is defending her religion and her prophet if she manages to kill Vilks.”

Why is it that responses like this seem to come from Muslims, and no one else?
“Vilks, a self-described atheist, points out he's an equal opportunity offender who in the past sketched a depiction of Jesus as a pedophile.”
Why could this man draw something so much more insulting about Jesus Christ, and be perfectly safe, yet something much less insulting elicits such a violent response from Muslims?
Thoughts please

Hopefully people will realize I am not attacking anyone here. Just asking a question.

I have seen people say things that Pentecostals do is of the devil. Things such as speaking in tongues and slain in the spirit. I am not asking whether you think these are for today or not. Nor am I asking you to support them or disprove them Biblically. However I think most Christians would admit Pentecostals are Christians. If you agree Pentecostals are Christians and say these things are of the devil are you not being similar to the pharisees who accused Jesus of casting out evil spirit by the devil. Isn't it close to blasphemy? What do you think? It seems to me they are accusing Pentecostals in the exact same way Pharisees accused Jesus.

While you don't believe in God, you feel justified on bashing God or attacking those who believe in something that you KNOW doesn't exist, fighting against or even discussing about a non-existent being are the symptoms of mental illness!
Is atheism a mental disorder? Atheists seem pretty wacko to me!
If you atheists don't believe in God, then why do you talk about Him so much?
Either you've got a mental illness or you really DO believe in God! Which one is it?
