Why do you constantly push the Bible? It will do nothing if they don't belive it. If I see those Genisis 19:30 or whatever thing, I'm atmaticly marking it as a thumbs down. I can't stand the Bible, and I imagion a lot of people can't. Just please, stop with the damn qoutes, keep church in church and if you see it on Yahoo! Answers, refrain from the qoutes.

This is R&S site and if you don't like the Bible why be here, because Christians will continue quoting from the Bible whether you like it or not

Why is it that you "Can't stand the Bible"? Have you ever read it? Any of it?
If no, then how can you hate it?
Is it the Bible, or any book in general?
I agree with the answer above me that said if you're so angry talk to G-d.
Contrary to your begging people to stop quoting, you cannot control what someone else says or thinks, or even types.
I'm not angry at you for being angry.
In fact, I believe you should channel your negativity into something positive.

Well the world basically puts us on a reservation, theres no trouble if we stay on our reservation or church as you claim but there is when we leave this reservation. Frankly, christians aren't going to be politically correct and follow the rules of the world. We are called upon to go and make disciples, and this is why we push the Bible. Our task is to present the information in the proper manner, only the Lord can make you believe. He loves you so much, he gives you the option to believe in Him or not. The world can't stand the Bible because they can't stand the truth, the world and those in it can't stand to be told they are wrong, the world and those in it dont want to refrain from their sinful ways. The problem is that alot of christians are dogmatic about their beleif, prideful about themselves and what they've accomplished, and this turns off too many people to thinking that Christians are hypocrites; we are all sinners, therefore we are all hypocrites, but we try, and are justified by beleif. We only wish to give hope to those in this world who have none, and present the Gospel to those who havent heard what wonderful truths the Bible has.

if you do not want to see the bible quoted stay out of the religious section- that should be easy enough. Even though I do not agree with any other religion, I do not tell other people to stop quoting there books, or even atheists quote people and I dont tell them not too. By the way as a Christian, I cannot leave my Christianity at the door of the church- Christ died for me, I chose to live for Him-and that means how I answer these questions.

My! You are inquisitive for someone who wants nothing to do with Christianity. I will try to tell you why a Christian pushes the Bible. First of all, it is the inspired word of God. It is our perfect rule for faith and practice. The Great Commission was given to the church! Every Christian is called upon to spread the good news.
Christians want for others what they have. That is to say that they want every one to know the Grace of God, and the joy of salvation.
Why do you hate the Bible. As a Christian, Christ is my absolute. He is the gage by which i judge my life.
Without an absolute, people make their own sense of right and wrong. The condition of our world today, and the terrible things you see in the news is a sad testimony to that fact.

Erm...dude...I am not sure just how I ought to break this to you, but you ARE in the "Religion and Spirituality" section of Yahoo Answers. Some people believe in the Bible, and that is why they quote it in their answers.

There are other topics in Yahoo Answers...just about anything you might be interested is covered. Perhaps you would be more comfortable (and see fewer religious quotes) in a different forum.
Seriously, if seeing religious quotes offends you, perhaps you ought to quit hanging around places where religious people congregate.

Why would you take issue with someone quoting scripture in the Religion and Spirituality section? Keep giving me the thumbs down, because I won't stop quoting if the question calls for it in an answer. Here's one for you so I can earn my thumbs down 2 Timothy 2:24-26!

Why do atheists constantly push atheism? Everyone wants to be the right and have others understand their veiws.
And Christianity is a lifestyle, therefore it goes everywhere with true Christians, and that includes Church and Yahoo! Answers.

First off go to School and learn to spell. Second the way that you feel about Christians is the same way that I feel towards loosers like you. There is a large building that will say School on the front of the building. The doors actaully open up for ignorant people like yourself.............

It is sad you cant stand the Bible or God but I seroius someday you me and everybody will stand before GOD!
I use to bne atheist from ages 15 through 18 I got Born again when I was 18.
