smarter than the scientist who does believe in creation? Why consider creation a fairy tale when some intelligent educated geniuses do not?

And is not an attack on an opponents belief system by belittling it a non intelligent argument itself?

so many people believe that their religion is the only true religion and fit and fight about it lets what physical proof can you offer that your religion is the ultimate rules are simple no quoting scriptures
your proof has to be able to be verifiable
and no putting down other religions in the process
I have my own beliefs and I belive that all religions have marit even satanism so lets see the proof that there is an ultimate religion

If you do (and i do, too), then do you think we should spend very much time worry about the environment? Don't you think we should spend more time worrying about telling people about Jesus in the hope that they will be saved from a REALLY dangerous environment for eternity?

... and those christians still think they know better - when in fact they don't even understand what the word "theory" means, the difference between science (understanding and accepting) and religion (believing), not to mention the theory itself?

Then why Christians are not so eager to die?
Why they keep their loved ones with brain damaged attached to machines in hospitals like vegetable?
Why they get scared when they see possibility of death?
Why they cry for years on death of a loved one when they know he/she is in heaven and enjoying a great life there?

We have been married for 3 years. He was raised as a JHW and follows their beliefs. I attend non-denominational churches. Right before we got married he began to attend the meetings, bible studies, etc. again. He has never pressured me to convert or anything and I have no desire to do so. Once a year or so, we will have dinner with people from his congregation. At first I would share this information with my mother because I didn't see anything with it. Then she started making comments like "I hope you don't become a JHW" or "You don't need to be hanging around with JHW's". Today we went to dinner with some of my husband friends and I mentioned it to my mom. She said it again! I then confronted her about it and told her what I do is MY choice, and any decision I make is between me and God. She then told me "Well, don't forget where you came from and who brought you there" (referring to God). It makes me so angry! I am 30 years old. I know right from wrong.

If it were true what would it be evidence of?

For many years church folks liked to spout that line, thinking it constituted evidence of some kind.

Maybe they still do, I don't know, cause I stay the hell away from them.

I believe in the teachings of Jesus, yet I also believe that the teachings of Buddah, Allah, etc...are also important. I believe that God wouldn't send His people that he created into eternal suffering just because they screwed up or didn't accept Him in this life. I don't believe that anyone goes to Hell. I'm not sure if this goes against the Bible's teachings or if this even ties into a certian religion. Is this considered Christian Universalism?

Among the survivors is a future mass murderer. Among the dead is a biologist that would have cured a cancer, saving the lives of millions.

Is this scenario impossible? Why?
If it is possible, explain how God could have let this happen?

Not things that go outside of scripture like celibacy for priests or purgatory. They don't directly go against anything in the Bible. They're just extras added on later. I'm looking for things that are undeniably against the teachings pf the Bible.

I was wondering, if you are not Catholic, and you are not seeking or wanting to convert, and you are of another faith, is it ok to visit a Catholic church and just "observe" a service? Just out of curiosity about their ways?
