Somewhere in the world, there is a foxhole with an atheist in it.

If you're asking whether or not they are too afraid to stay atheists in a time when they could die.. well, that's their issue.. not yours. You worry about yourself and let the atheists worry whether they're strong enough to die staying true to their own convictions.

Soldiers don't use foxholes anymore. Atheists are going to pounce on you.

i am guessing you have not been to war, done presence patrols, done foot patrols, mixed deep in civilians where you have no clue who is good who is bad.

there are men and women who face death quietly, without crying about what might happen and most have seen it, who do this day in and day out.

put up, or drop it, if a man is a non-believer in a deity or if he is the most holy one to serve God, that is their affair. They keep you safe.

what they think is an adult matter, not for you to know

No matter how dire my situation I hope I'll always have the strength of character to remain an atheist.

Don't go there.

Even if you're just a troll, do not disrespect the men and women who have given their lives for your freedom. There are plenty of atheists who have served, and who have given their lives for us. If you disrespect that, either for your amusement as a troll or to further some religious agenda, then you are worse than vile.

Athiest - no. Atheists, yes.

YES. It is easy to declare one is atheist in anonymity. However, in everyday life... no one needs to know about that and especially family if christian. Doing what is best.
