what does the bible say about the united states?

i have often wondered what the bible say about the united states.right now we are the most powerful nation in the world but how long will that last?i beleive america could be headed for economic collapse,and soon,red china will be top dog in the financial world and america will become a third world nation.will america be involved in the final battle between good and evil?was the terrorist attacks of 2001 the beginning of a larger plan to destroy america econocially?does god hate america now and not blessing us now?

the united states in scripture is represented by the eagle's wings .... dan 7:4 saying,

"The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it."

- the wings broke off from the lion = the U.S. independence from great britain (gr. britain is the lion)

- it stood on feet as a man & a man's heart was given to it = uncle sam
why would God say a man's heart would be given to the u.s.?
unlike most nations, when the u.s. goes to war & defeats a nation, it will give that nation billions of dollars to help it rebuild..... example, iraq.

yes, america is headed for economic collapse... already the dollar is worth less than ever ... as the euro gains momentum.
scripture says there will be a rebirth of the holy roman empire & it will be the powerbase of the antichrist. as we speak, europe continues to grow ever stronger. (i think china will be wiped out in the 6th trumpet war that's coming soon).

in rev. 13:1-8 which portrays the world government beast (which is the combined beasts of daniel 7), the united states is missing. that means the u.s. will not be apart of this world government system.

why??
maybe it has been too damaged from the 6th trumpet war that is just on the horizon ... the war that will kill 2 billion people. Or maybe the u.s. w/draws from the un, like a couple of our presidential candidates have suggested. maybe the u.s. has gone into isolation. whatever the case, it is not shown to be part of the world govt. system.

however, it looks as tho america survives b/c in rev. 12:14, the eagles' wings is there again giving aid to jerusalem.

i do believe that the 6th trumpet war began on 9-11 b/c rev. 9:14 says that it begins in area of the euphrates river. the u.s. has 160,000 troops there now. there will be a catalyst that will cause this war to blow up & kill 1/3 of the population of the world. will that be when the u.s. attacks iran?? pres. bush intends to do so next year before he leaves office. then when the u.s. is again over-extended w/ yet another military offensive, that will give china the space she needs to attack taiwan... which she continues to threaten to do.

i do not believe that God hates america. but i do believe He is very angry.

There are actually 3 schools of thought on the united states in biblical prophesy, but not by chapter and verse.

the first, and the oldest, dates back to the 1950-1960 time period. The idea was adduced from biblical old testiment scripture that the united states military would be anahilated in the middle east, or now I suppose sw asia. The reason for this is that we have agreements to support isreal. If we do not exist, isreal has to turn back to God.

the second part, and this is more recent. In the book of revelation, it talks about the nation being destroyed in a day, the smoke rising from it, merchant men weeping because they had no where to sell their merchandise.

that is currently being thought as to what is going to happen in the next terrorist attack on the united states. Groups like MS-13 are bring terrorist and weapons in paid for by chavez. I could go on, but you get the idea.

The next idea is that this scripture deals with China during the tribulation as its demand for raw product, concrete, steel, food and such is enourmous.

There is nothing directly in the scripture dealing with the united states and for good reason, the bible is about Jesus, Isreal and to glorify God.

Boy, you better read that Bible again. In Mohican 5-2,1.5 It says the Gabrial visited Tomahawk and warned him of the coming of the God's people and In Applachi 17-3, God blesses the white man to mingle with the natives of all land and said "all of God's children will come to the new land mix their seed to bring peace to the world". And Cherroke 2-2 says that the evil mohamad will fall after a 1000 years and will decline forever for his breath carried lies and his people will stand against peace and God will take their gift away and the world will live in peace." So read the bible again.

If you really want to know, I will point you in the right direction. If you do not really want to know, going this direction will do you no good at all. When I first learned who the USA was in the Bible, I fought against the knowledge, however, after much study and prayer, well, I had to accept that it is true.
