Right on! :)
The condition of the environment today is just another sign that the end is near... But before Jesus returns in power and glory, his love and mercy must be revealed through His people in full and final display! When His character shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own!

(2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2Â For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3Â having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4Â betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5Â having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
Check out these points one by one and see how they match the situation we have today.
At the turn of the century, EVERYONE jus about went to church on a regular basis. the clergy were respected. Today in the U.S.A., the Catholic church is selling assets to pay for damages caused by paedophile priests. 2.4 billion dollars.
And there is very little natural affection. People are suspicious of each other. Estate agents are not trusted. Banks are greedy. Politicians seem never to tell the truth. Wars are everywhere. Enemies do not wear uniforms.
We surely ARE in the last days.

Most definitely!!! Our spirituality and that of others is most important at this point. We cannot do any real good for this environment now that it is in this state. We are just mere humans. Besides, our God promises us a new heaven and a new earth in Revelation Chapter 21. What we need to do is to make sure that we are there and to help anybody else we can to get on the road of being there.

I think it's possible that we are in the end times. HOWEVER, I don't see this as a good reason to do any less to conserve the environment. I don't think being good stewards of the Earth is ever a bad idea. Besides, I think we could win more people for Christ by behaving as if we care about our gifts from God (including the Earth) and setting good examples as Christians than by getting in people's faces about it.

No the end will come 1000 years after the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ which is right around the corner. I was attacked by a demon when Saddam Husein lit said oil wells on fire during the first Gulf War which stung me with the sting of a scorpion. It sent waves of fire through my soul. God speaks in mysterious ways. This is a true story as you will see. "The Fifth Trumpet".

Yes, You hit it right on the head..........2Tim3:1-5........3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2Â For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3Â having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4Â betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5Â having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away...........Luke17:26-27......26Â Moreover, just as it occurred in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of man: 27Â they were eating, they were drinking, men were marrying, women were being given in marriage, until that day when Noah entered into the ark, and the flood arrived and destroyed them all...........Just like today people are takeing no not of whats going on.

Personally, I don't understand the ego of the men who think that mankind can destroy the earth that God created.
And regardless of the current 'crisis' of 'global warming' [or cooling or inability to support life, etc], I've always tried to exercise a righteous dominion over the part of the world I've been entrusted to - and to tend & beautify it.

You are right but it is appropriate to center the salvation message to meet the concerns of the listener. We want them to grow and become productive for Jesus Christ at the same time.
