and here is the translation for the Arabic...

I bear witness none is worthy of worship but Allah and I bear witness Muhammad is the Last Messenger of Allah.
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
The Beneficent, the Merciful.
Master of the Day of Judgment.
Thee alone we worship; Thee alone we ask for help.
Show us the straight path.
The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the path of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.

My teacher told us alot of the Qs that'll be on the quiz. I NEED HELP! PLEASE! Here are some!

List three Old Testament prophecies concerning Christ's life on earth.

What were the three main sections of the Old Testament in Christ's day?

What was Christ preauthenticing (WHAT'S THAT MEAN?!) when He promised His disciples that the Holy Spirit would "guide [them] into all truth" (John 16:13) and "bring all things to [their] remembrance" (John 14:26)?

Pleaseee help. I listen alright in class, but these Qs are freaky! I've never heard of them before.... and I haven't gotten anything under a B+ this year. I don't want to flunk!

It obviously doesn't We have religious leaders who are scumbags..we have atheists who are public servants and live good clean lives.

Humanity's understanding of right vs wrong has evolved over time. We once thought slavery was ok and religion said cool..we thought it was ok to kill for most crimes..now we don't agree.

People have been working with morality since dawn of time and all religions had good vs bad. So either all those Gods are valid and provided the morals....or morality is not exclusive to religion

Morality and honor....and what God, if any, one believes in seem to be 2 seperate issues.

Sparkles is bringing the best recipes and John is our cook. So you dont have to worry about food but You can bring any of these few options. Compassion, Love, Peace, Humility, Courtesy, Piety, Truth, Justice, Care or something similar. Sorry you cannot bring Hugs since Pangel is already bringing loads of them. You surely don't want to miss it because we have also called CrimmsonandClover to tell us Ghost stories in heaven. So what are you bringing?

Ok, maybe this is because English is not my first language, but here goes.
I always learned/thought "adultry" is the act of sleeping around if you're married, or sleeping around with someone who is married.

But recently I've seen Christians here use the word for pre-marital sex. What's up with that? Is this the correct term? And do religious texts reflect this? Does the Bible/Koran/Torah/Add your own book differentiate between the two acts, or do they consider it the same? Because it seems to me they are not at all the same (if only because there's a difference in involving others or not)

So, could you please clarify this for me? What's the difference, if any? Where does it say so in you Holy Book of choice? I'd prefer actual sources over personal, opinions, if possible.

The Jews rejected Christ.
You can believe one or the other.
I choose to believe the word of God.
The Qu'ran teaches Jesus is the word of God.
What did Jesus say that the Jews rejected?

John 9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

Satan hurled 2 accusations at God: "You're not just and You have no love." In response to these accusations God did the following.

1. He created man, a being vastly inferior to the angels but sharing with them the properties of intellect, agency (power of choice) and eternal life, and gave him dominion over Planet Earth.
2. He gave man a set of rules to live by, and ordained that obedience to them was a requirement for life. Any violations (sins), even those committed only in the mind, would be punishable by death. There were no loop holes, and no one would escape judgment. Perfect justice.

3. He sent His Son to live a life in total compliance to these rules, the only man ever to do so, granting Him the right to govern the universe and receive all its worth as His inheritance.
4. He gave His Son's life to purchase a pardon for all whose sins would require judgment, decreeing that by accepting His death as payment for their sins they would also receive eternal life and share in this inheritance as His adopted children. Perfect Love.

Genesis 3
1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
