Say the enemy will surely overrun your camp by sun up & they will torture you before taking your life. Is it okay to take yourself out?

Suicide is murder - it just happens to be murder of oneself.
God can forgive any sin, including murder.
However, sin is never an option. Christians should remember that this life is fleeting and that we should live and die for Christ. By taking our own lives, we remove the opportunity for God to do great things with us.

It is not your life, therefore it is not your life to take.
That's point one.
Point two. What the f**k are you still doing in that camp?!?! I mean, I would seriuosly do either one of two things:
1) I believe in the cause, I go gather a bunch of mates and attack the s**t out of the enemy and kill as many as possible before they kill me (lol, yeah, that's so seriuosly the Christian coming out in me, ay? lol)
2) if I don't believe in the cause, RUN the f**k away! Why would you want to die in a stupid camp? Let alone take your own life, which is a terrible sin....

I'd be more inclined to go for a medical reason, than some enemy coming! If a person is dying from a disease, that will have a painful end, they are entitled to take the easy way out! I'm going to!

I think there is a chemical reaction that runs amok in the human brain when people contemplate and follow through with suicide.....I believe it will be God's call and all things will be considered in most cases.

No. You cannot do that, but you can give your life for someone elses, for example by staying behind to let your comrades get out, and keep firing your machine gun until they kill you.
