Acts 24:14-16

If we understand that we are sinners saved by grace, we may struggle with the idea of a “blameless conscience” (Acts 24:16). After all, we know our own hearts and motivations. Yet the apostle Paul found a way to ensure that his conscience commended rather than condemned him. What was his secret? Paying attention to his beliefs and his behavior

1. When was the Kaaba built?

2. Has anyone ever phycially lived in the Kaaba at any time?

3. The Kaaba is thousands of years old, yet I've seen photos of the inside and it appears to have shiny, modern-looking marble floors and ornate walls. When were these added?

4. Is there ever maintenance done to the Kaaba?

So jesus christ died on the cross for our sins right? So does that mean i can do whatever i want and its ok? Hes already paid the price so does that mean i have to? This is probably a dumb question but a serious atheist wants to know.

I am so thankful that God has chosen Israel and the Jewish people as a special blessing for the world. I know that His hand is on you. I just wanted you to know that I am an American and would be willing to go to Israel and fight for your nation if you needed me. Anyone else feel this way.

Don't get me wrong, I could care less what you do as long as you aren't *intentionally* hurting someone... just curious. Why are Christians who smoke (or drink, practice gluttony, or take meds ) so quick to judge someone else? I was coming out of Wal*Mart the other day and someone honked. It scared me and I blurted out, "F***ing he*l!" And this lady who was behind me said, "That's really nice to say around children and elderly... thank God for Jesus!" as she blew out a thick cloud of smoke. I just rolled my eyes and went on. I figured her daughter (who looked about 4) would forget about me within a couple seconds, but remember her mom polluting her lungs daily for the rest of her life. Your thoughts?

Here is the definition of Science in simple language;

"An organized method for discovering how the world works, by observation, experimentation, and analysis of results – independently of any biases, needs, or prejudices that might color or alter the conclusions – followed by competent, independent, replication of the findings. Those findings must be subject to rigorous attempts at falsification, and adjusted to more accurately reflect the reality, if and when necessary… Or reversed…!"

Did you understand any of that? It means that you start with a hypothesis and THEN observe the outcome in order to reach a conclusion.
NOT, and this is how "creation science" works, by working backwards from the conclusion, and ignoring or changing any observations that detract from that conclusion.

(note that "creation science" is in quotes. That's because it is an oxymoron. Look it up)
This question arose because so many of you CLEARLY don't understand what science is all about.

Faith often allows people to persevere during times of distress and challenge. Evolutionarily speaking this could create a competitive advantage by increasing chances of survival (belief often creates a feeling of wellbeing, and could be a motivating factor in trying new solutions). What do you think - Is religious belief and evolutionary survival tool?

I have often seen Roman Catholics claim that their church is the true church. They are the church that Christ founded. Lets forget for a moment that The term Catholic was not used till long after Christ died. The church though is not a building or a denomination. The church is all the believers in Christ. Is this not the true church? Not any denomination or sect but all the believers regardless of what their denomination is?

I've been looking around at different sites,papers,and science magazines,and what they all have in common is that they all say the same things.In and about 2010-2012 we,that means us as a planet,will be heading into a very turbulent and energetic section of our universe.The ambient radiation of cosmic levels will be higher,more foreign objects such as meteors,or comets,and maybe rogue planets. It seems that science doesn't really know, but it's scary just the same.As far as locally,the Sun is going to go through the largest solar maximum ever recorded.In past maximums borialis phenomenon was at very high levels,and satellites were even knocked offline globally,as well as ground utilities in the west. This next one is supposed to be 50 times more powerful.Also the planet is going through a magnetic wobble,which may switch north and south poles.With all this information and no one really saying anything about it nationally, what are things we can expect to see going on in everyday life?
