I took my nursing training in a Catholic hospital, and my classmates were a mix of Jews, Protestants, Catholics, and a couple of atheists ( I was one of those). I've worked for Catholic hospitals, and for a Seventh-Day Adventist hospital down south, and neither asked for my religion. By law, they aren't allowed to.

I knew Doctors who were from India, Persia, Arabia who had hospital privillages in Catholic run hospitals.

Yes, religious organizations can fire you for any reason. They are exempt from most all non-discrimination laws. The supreme court recently ruled the nurses at a religious hospital could join a union.

You'd probably need some sort of MEDICAL affiliation to work in one. You know like doctor or nurse or med tech or whatever.
Unless you're working in admin.
