Would you kill because your god told you to? For example, would you sacrifice your son because you believe God wants you to do so?

If you would not kill for your god, does that mean you don't truly believe? If you think god would not ask such, does that mean there was a different god in the times of the New Testament?

Or does that mean that God was mistaken in the Old Testament and learned the errors of his ways? Does that mean that God could have been wrong?

Humanity. I believe the lesson is more important than the teacher.

off course humanity,
God don't want sacrifice from anybody but if you should have true believe in God.You love with God and remember never hurt to any body.Help the peoples who is really in nead. But yours help shall not encourage him as a help seekers. Some powerful persons have tendency to harm the rights of a geunion candidate which force him to think against the existence of god. God is always above the all. but he likes the people who have humanity.

I would never kill my son. Even if some god were to materialize before me and demand it of me.
I would sooner check myself into a mental institution before entertaining such a horrible idea. Such a god is not worthy of worship.

Humanity comes and goes but God is forever. I wouldn't kill somebody unless I have absolute proof that it is God Himself who told me to do so. And if He did, that would make Him a liar since he says not shed innocent blood.
I'm not gonna make a human sacrifice just because of a voice in my head or something like that. That would make me some cultist freak.

no I would never sacrifice a family member for god. He might have sacrificed his own son(of all people) but that doesnt mean I will. A family member you know exists, god...not necessarily as one can only believe but not know.
Besides, any god who insists on a sacrifice of a living thing(humans, animals, you get it) is not worthy of worshipping.

Humanity! No doubt whatsoever. However, if there were actually a God and he told me to kill myself and/or my son, that would just prove that he's not the loving god those Christians think he is.

God never fails. humanity does.
i fight for and defend my life for people who could careless about me and about this country. I'm always getting ugly comments from people because I'm in the military. people who hate me because of my skin color and most importantly hate me because I'm a Christian. God will never tell me to do such things. God does not contradict His word. He knows my strong points and my weak points and He has never forsaken me. so i think I'll go with God.
