No backup plans? I'm surprised at the amount of myopia among Christianophiles.

Dude I've got like fifteen. When I think I'm going to die I'm going to have a cross, a buddha statue, some prayer beads, clean feet, a lucky rabbits foot, a shinto amulet, a bible, a koran, a book of mormon, and I'm going to encircle myself in a ring of salt. I'm going to be freakin' Godproof.

We joined Imaginary Society two years ago, and we are truly happy and glad. The great thing is, Imaginary Society allows you to keep your old religion, and you can hold dual religionality.

So, yes, we do have a backup, in case Christianity turns out to be wrong. And a very nice backup it is too.

Backup religion defaults to Atheism for the sake of answering the question.

However, Christianity is not wrong. Only one person has risen from the dead and stayed that way - Jesus, and Christians wholeheartedly believe + trust in Jesus as their personal saviour.

I don't need a backup plan, nor will I ever choose one. If Christianity turns out to be wrong, it will be too late to have a backup plan because I'll be dead. I'm a Christian always.

I don't need one, because if Christianity is wrong, then it only means I will not go to Heaven or hell after I die and I'm still happy with the way I've lived my life. But if you're wrong, it might mean more than that long, cozy nothingness you have in mind. I'd suggest you have a Plan B.

Oh, read Sam Harris's book The End of Faith! It's a kick in the head to the Xtians!

As a Christian, I accept the possibility that I could be wrong. I also do not believe that Jesus is the "only way". I feel it's more a way to live my life than a ticket to heaven--if such a thing exists.

Do it because it's the right thing to do...not because you're looking for a reward.

If you have a testimony of the truthfulness of what you believe in, you don't need a back up plan. It's like asking what my backup plan is for breathing oxygen if it turns out this is not really oxygen I am breathing right now. I know it is.

People will always debate religions.
How can persons understand religion when they don`t even understand theirself!, or the physical universe. Foolish!
Chrisianity (The religion) Stems from faith alone.
The teaching of the truth is love, not religion!
