God created Lucifer, am I right? Or didn't He?

Lucifer fell and became Satan, the Father of Lies. Satan wants us to be as he is, unhappy, fallen, sinful, EVIL.

If God was so adamant that Adam and Eve not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, then why did He not do something to prevent it?

If Jesus Christ was always intended to be our Saviour, then God must have wanted Adam and Eve to eat the fruit, otherwise, Jesus would have been totally unnecessary.

..but we all know that Freya gets the first pick. So the best, bravest, fiercest and most honourable warriors go to Freya's hall, not Odin's Valhall.
If that is so, why is "going to Valhall" so much more advertised and desired among the Asatruar? They can't be all trully dedicated to Odin, (or actually actively participating in the army) yet it seems that all that ever gets in the public and the media (movies, music lyrics...etc) is dying for Odin and going to Valhall.
I mean, who wants to hang out with the second best? Who wants to BE the second best?
Am I over-simplifying this?

Here is a link to the article I read since I forgot to put it in last time. It is: http://answering-islam.org/Authors/JR/Future/index.htm . here is a link to this question I asked earlier. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070912141607AAnCsA6&r=w . Anyways just opening this for discussion. If you think this is valid or not and want to say so feel free. Its about possible connections to beheadings in islam and how it could be related to end time prophetic scripture in revelations about people doing so believing they are serving God. (I remembered the beheadings of those reporters) The global economy that is established under a one world gov't under whom the anti christ becomes leader also has a one world religion declaired.

2007 has already broken the record for the lowest amount of sea ice ever recorded, say scientists
The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
Are you afraid of the heat? or do you have your armour on?

Could anyone provide me with insight as to the negative aspects of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I'm looking for expirienced stories and insight from people with living knowledge of the church. Not to discount the legitimacy of those who claim it to be a cult or what have you but I am not looking for an accusation without a story to back it up.

Is it that the majority of people have become humanistic? So they use the combinations of evolution, atheistism, and agnosticism to help define their "moral reasoning"?

Interview with BeliefNet.com: Hans Küng said Vatican knew for decades about sexually abusive priests & the bishops' mishandling of them.

Hans Küng, a quoted theologian of the 20th century; A professor of Catholic Theology at University of Tübingen, was one of the clear leaders of the Second Vatican Council that began Reformation of the Catholic Church under Pope John 23rd. He was later removed from the position as Catholic theologian in a purge of liberal thinkers instigated by John Paul II & carried out by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now rules Vatican as Benedict XVI.

My guess is both abuse and cover-ups were quite systemic, far more prevalent than yet been admitted or faced. Perhaps that's the clue to their allowing abuse to continue. If it was as widespread as we believe, it must have involved people in high places, including bishops, archbishops, cardinals.

Were you offended by Kathy Griffin's remark at the VMA's? "A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus."
C'mon! Not only is that funny, but don't you think it is true? All kinds of people who obviously aren't Christ-like thank God every time they win award. At least she was honest in saying that God "Jesus" had nothing to do with it right? Granted, she should'nt have followed it with "Suck it Jesus!" But thats all relative.

God is the creator. He was around before Jesus. Why on signs and brochures for religions and churches does it read, "Jesus is Lord/Jesus is God?" Would not saying that rule God out of the equation? God is the father, Jesus is the son, so why are people calling Jesus Lord and/or God and not involving his father? Is this what is referred to as a collective?
Without God, there would be no Jesus. So in prayer or church should mankind not pray to both?
That would be like asking my sons to access my tools without talking to me. I'm not being hateful here just asking a question.

I'm reading alot of essays about the definition of a family in this reader for my college english class, and it many definitions of a family I didn't think should be there.

How is it you define a family? Can two homosexuals have adopted children and be a family? Lesbians? two people cohabiting, unmarried? What is a family???

I have to write an essay on this, and when these people are giving all their statistics, about how marriage is no longer the norm, or is no longer needed, or that it is ok for homosexuals to be married, how do I defend this?

Right now, I can see my only defense being "because the Bible says it shouldn't be that way." but I want to produce some actual facts like the opposition is. What are some things I can use to prove a family should be a man and a woman, and their children, and that's it.??

What would happen if we applied Christian logic to other areas of life?

Imagine if when NASA made the first shuttle, they based the designs on text that was thousands of years old from people who did not use the scientific method.

Imagine if they did NO scientific research and they prayed to God to help them build it and to put the information in their heads. Imagine if they did no experiments to see if any equipment would work and based everything on the "answers" they recieved from prayer.

Would you want to get on this shuttle?

I'm sorry to bring attention to this again, but I have to say, if the parents weren't from a specific religious belief, this never would have happened.
