Many of you know that my daughter needs another kidney transplant. I usually do not ask for prayers for her unless it is critical.

This issue has to do with her job! She has been working and doing dialysis at night. This allows her condition not to interfere with her work; however, she was recently salaried and since, they have been leaning on her to work overtime too...a lot!

Now, understand that they knew her condition when she started working there and agreed that she would be able to make doctor appointments and such. This was NO problem, until she was salaried!

They are putting pressure on her and she thinks they may be trying to provoke her into quitting or, giving her so much work that she cannot accomplish all of her duties.

She is in fact, doing the job of two people! Who among you, will pray with me that they do not take her job from her? She works too hard and it gives her more of a reason to get up and keep going!

I thank you, in advance, for your prayers.

From AMRTANUBHAVA (Ambrosial Experience) written in the 1200's by Sri Jnanadeva of Maharatha compiled before He was 20.

The intellect knows everything knowable but misses the object (spirit or soul) only. The mind fancies everything but that.

Seriously, if you are a Christian woman read the Bible. The doctrines it sets are holding you back in so many ways.

Okay, before you answer this right away, picture this scenario:

There's this atheist dude/dudette. Never been to church, doesn't beleive in god. But, this person is a doctor does community service, never pollutes or lies, doesn't drink accesivly and recycles. Does he/she still go to hell?

If you are a Muslim woman, do you wear the head scarf? What does it mean for you? When do you/ did you start wearing it. What is it supposed to mean? Do you think that woman are treated as second class citizens in the Islamic religion, or is that just what everyone says and you don't see it that way?

Please don't answer unless you're Muslim because you will not be giving me real information, just what you've "gathered" from the news, or what your "great" opinion on the matter is.

David Hanson has two little Zenos to care for these days. There's his 18-month-old son Zeno, who prattles and smiles as he bounds through his father's cramped office. Then there's the robotic Zeno. It can't speak or walk yet, but has blinking eyes that can track people and a face that captivates with a range of expressions. At 17 inches tall and 6 pounds, the artificial Zeno is the culmination of five years of work by Hanson and a small group of engineers, designers and programmers at his company, Hanson Robotics.
They believe there's an emerging business in the design and sale of lifelike robotic companions, or social robots. And they'll be showing off the robot boy to students in grades 3-12 at the Wired NextFest technology conference Thursday in Los Angeles. Unlike clearly artificial robotic toys, Hanson says he envisions Zeno as an interactive learning companion, a synthetic pal who can engage in conversation and convey human emotion through a face made of a skin-like, patented..

I found a couple of articles that state Ostara, the Goddess of Spring (in general) has the rabbit as her symbol. But when I look into it further, I can't find any actual historical reference for this other than it was attached to Easter later because of the general idea of rabbits and breeding (bringing new life). Which is consistent with the idea of Spring and many of the Pagan Holidays attributed to it, but is there any actual reference to this being the symbol of Ostara herself? (There's really not much in the way of Historical reference for Ostara... nothing in depth, that I have found, anyway.)

Ladies and Gentlemen, my questions are this: Many of you say the Bible is written by God.

When you say that do you mean "Physically"?

There are may translations, How do you know that the translation you read is the "Right, True Perfect Translation"?

Which Translation do you read?

What is your Denomination, Sect or ?

Can you direct an individual towards a website that disproves the fable of Noah's Ark, or that the Shroud of Turin was made in the 14th century, or that DNA more than likely came from comets? How can we, as responsible humans, make sure there is enough valid content to ensure our children will evolve to the next level of humanity?

Do you honestly believe being gay is a choice? What do you think should be done with gay people if you are against them? Do you think they are "bad" people? What would you do/say if a gay person walked into your church?

I am straight atheist and for gay rights by the way :)
