Protestants are Catholics that protested the Catholic plunge into idolatry. The Biblical gospel is, that Christ alone died for our sins and that nothing can be added or subracted from that.
The Catholic church declared that anyone who said this was accursed (1500's). Well, they essentially became an invalid church at that point, and the Protestants have never changed their committment to Scripture, Christ, and the Gospel, whereas the current Roman Catholic heresy now embraces purgatory, indulgences, prayers to Mary, Papal infallibility, and a faith + works righteousness. Sorry, but this will never reconcile until the Catholic church repents and returns to the Bible.

yeah, i'd be at a loss for words too, if i advance into you. And whilst the others say "troll" i think of what they actually propose is "poe". there is no longer something complicated approximately it. Catholics are taught that Jesus is the "way the actuality and the existence". I heard this maximum of circumstances starting to be up you would be proud. i'm stunned you probably did no longer pay attention approximately it too once you have been starting to be up "as a Catholic" And have confidence me, Catholics get emotional besides. it style of feels dry and sophisticated at circumstances, continuously approximately accountability and doing what's staggering, yet i will inform you this staggering now what Catholics have that protestants have not got: and that's the Holy Eucharist. there is no longer something extra very own, as quickly as you comprehend what the words propose, and pay interest to them, than Jesus being gained into your physique each and every Sunday (and you may bypass there on a daily basis of the week in case you elect), and archives that each and every thing in His existence, His Spirit, His way, is shared with you in this mystical adventure that seems, on the exterior, to be no longer something in any respect....an adventure so unappreciated and undervalued, that when you eventually understand the astounding recent you have been given, you will fall flat on your face an weep with gratitude. which will end the confusion. The rosary isn't the subject. Works isn't an argument. what's significant is Jesus, you and God. it somewhat is all. Protestants can no longer supply you that. Emotion isn't reality. reality is reality. right this is reality: Protestants does no longer have a bible if Catholics had no longer preserved it. there have been no protestants in the previous the Reformation, there have been heretics. (incorrect doctrine) There are actually not any recorded miracles interior the protestant church homes. The Catholic church thoroughly investigates each and every declare and archives it. in the previous the reformation or maybe for an prolonged at the same time as afterwards ALL CHRISTIANS believed interior the stainless and sinless nature of the Blessed Virgin. And the devil is the Lord of misunderstanding.

Considering that most Protestants practice Catholic beliefs/traditions but without the Pope right? I don't see any difference. The religions aren't necessarily truth, they are belief, they aren't the same thing. Most people never look through the bible so they just take what people tell them and call it truth. And I don't necessarily see pride either, but both religions have it.

I read all the responces, its amazing how little some of you realize that you are wrong. Catholic church is not based on salvation thru works, thats the misconception, but the teaching of the church is that it is faith working thru love. Faith alone without works is dead, or at least the catholic bible says that. If the protestants have any truth at all, and they do, they got it from the orignal church which is the catholic church. We are the main ocean and the other churches spring out from it. Jesus said "The gates of hell shall not prevail", and the catholic church is the only one still existing after 2,000 yrs. How many protestant chruches can say that? none of them.

The problem is that any religion or sect of religion believes that they're way of practicing religion is the only right way. They believe they know the entire truth which only leads to fighting and discord and does nothing positive for people in the end. Even though religion should be something that helps people - it ends up being an argument about who is right and why - this is why religion is useless.

For those who spread lies about the Catholic Church: their ignorance is their lack of knowledge, their stupidity is their wisdom, and their truth is falsehood
In attacking the Catholic Church, Protestants sever their own roots
No protestant should quote Scripture at all, for he has no means of knowing which books are inspired; Unless of course, he wants to accept the authority of the Catholic Church for that

Protestant? Truth?
Catholic? Pride?
I see it the other way around.
Do you even KNOW the differences? And many Protestants practice and believe exactly the same as Catholics, without the Pope at the top? Where do they fit in? Too Catholic or not Protestant enough for you?
Your question is as ridiculous as you.
BTW... You don't speak for God. Stop acting like you know something when you obviously don't, based on your prejudice. God loves us all, and none of us know the 'truth'.
Your pride is showing.

The real problem is that everyone is talking and no one is listening. If you want to know what Catholics believe, it is very easy to find out. Repeating false statements about what Catholics believe, without doing the research, is just wrong.
Try visiting www.catholic.com and see what we really believe.

No. Catholic dogma is reliable no matter which Church you go to. And as for pride, the fact that most Christians bash Catholics I'd say that makes us pretty humble.
To spaz_81085, Catholics don't believe that that their Church is not the only way to heaven. They believe that their Church is the only true Church but the way to heaven is not limited to the Church.
White Tornado, the Church does NOT require works like the Mormons do. It requires both faith and works because if you truly have faith you will do works no questions asked. Deeds are but nothing without faith and faith is but belief without works. Martin Luther never intended to break with the Church. He only meant to reform the Church. Just because the people who ran the Church were corrupt does not make the Church itself corrupt. The Church is only an institution and Martin Luther knew that.
