Okay, before you answer this right away, picture this scenario:
There's this atheist dude/dudette. Never been to church, doesn't beleive in god. But, this person is a doctor does community service, never pollutes or lies, doesn't drink accesivly and recycles. Does he/she still go to hell?

I'm an atheist and Jesus personally told me that I'm going to heaven.
That's favouritism for ya!
He also told me he's not fond of agnosticism. Too much "dilly dallying" he said.

Well I am A Church Of Christ. Yes Atheist Are Going To Hell Because They Reject God, Not Believe anything, Being Atheist Is Wrong, Pretending That God Don't Exist. But Don't Listen To Any Atheist Says You Going To Hell For Believing In God
And Do Not Agree With Atheist. They Are Just Trying To Scare You But Don't Listen To Him/Her

Since atheists don't believe there is a hell, this is an entirely hypothetical question. It sounds like you are really asking whether atheists should be punished for their beliefs. So I would answer, why should they, any more than anyone else should be punished for any other beliefs. Should someone who believes in white supremacy go to hell? Should everyone who does not accept the literal truth of every passage of the Bible go to hell? Should everyone who supports the Taliban go to hell? Should everyone who reads Charles Darwin go to hell? There are a lot of beliefs out there, and once we start condemning people just for holding beliefs we don't like, we are going to be condemning a lot of people. Unless those beliefs lead someone to commit an act that deserves punishment, I see no reason to punish anyone for any belief they might hold, regardless of how wrong it might be or how much I might disagree with it.

I think no, not based on that fact that one is an atheist alone (being a rude, crude, uncaring, unloving, criticizing, hateful, adulterous, murder, child molester of any religious or lack there of beliefs... you've got the picture) those are the people who deserve Hell. I believe that at the end of an atheists live, God will show them the answers and proof they long for. You asked me not to cop out. So I shall give you one that will be hated by atheists and many Christians alike, but it is what I believe. I believe God is loving, forgiving and there you have it. Have a wonderful weekend! Cinn =) *EDIT* I think I got a bit carried away there.. and after contemplating I dont think adulterers deserve hell, just a swift kick in the ****. Hell to me is for murders, rapists, child/animal abusers.

The bible clearly states that you must believe in the Christ for you to enter heaven. If your not with God, you are with the devil, you cannot be in between. God wants all humans to see the merit in good deeds.
All in all, If this person does not believe in God at all, they are going to HELL. It doesn't make sense for God to allow someone in heaven who doesn't believe in him. Unless you change and start believe there is a chance. But one day there won't be anytime left to change.
If you are asking this question you must have SOME belief in God. He wants you to live eternally with Him in paradise, but you have to accept His offer.

Hitler was insane, so he was not responsible for what he did. Therefore Hitler went to Heaven. However, since none of the Jews he tortured and put to death accepted Jesus, they all went to Hell. So Hitler s up there enjoying Heaven, while all 6 million of his Jewish victims are beng tormented eternally in Hell. Common sense.

Sorry pal but you are still bound for hell! Who ever told you that "being good" got you into heaven? No what you need is your sins forgiven by the sacrifice of The Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
As you reject this, the God/Jesus thing, you don't have a Saviour so no Saviour, no Heaven, your choice your HELL!

Getting into heaven or hell is based on pure luck. Because we all have sin on us, even down to the smallest white lie we have ever told! Atheists do not go to hell based on their beliefs. It's what choices they choose to make in life that chooses where we go in the after life, same as it does for all people on this planet! :)

WOW i had no idea that we are gods slaves !! So 6 million jews went to hell for not believing in god and Hitler went to heaven ??? WTF is wrong with religion.....
