You'll just have to take my word for it.

Oh god, I questions like that. (Yes, I don't care to capitalize it.) I can prove that I don't BELIEVE the planet Earth exists, I'm entiled to my belief. However, I can't very well prove that it DOESN'T exist for a fact. And umm.. it is much easier to prove he doesn't exist than it is to prove he does. It's funny that people believe every word of something written in a book 2000 years ago. I mean, sure, I don't ignore the fact that he could exist, but WHY? I am this close to writing a book and then seeing how many people believe it, revere it, even, a few thousand years later. Another one: why are there tens, maybe even hundreds of different religions if they are all absolutely sure that they are right?

I don't really know but I have looked down through the answers and they say Christians can't prove they believe in God. Actually we can! I'm just saying if someone had a gun pointed at a Christian and said renounce your God and they say no...then that is pretty much proving it! As for me, I believe in God! I'd be happy to prove it for ya if there is ever a time.

It takes just as much faith to believe in atheism as it does to believe in God. To make the absolute statement “God does not exist” is to make a claim of knowing absolutely everything there is to know about everything – and of having been everywhere in the universe there is to go – and having witnessed everything there is to be seen. of course, no atheist would make these exact claims. However, that is essentially what they are claiming when they state that God does not exist.

Yes they say, I don't believe in God thats proof enough. I think you wanted to ask can an atheist prove that god doesn't exist.

"I believe that a tolerant atheist should go to heaven over an intolerant christian"

About as much as someone who claims just about anything.

"There is no such thing as a true atheist"

Sorry that you can't understand basic concepts Kenny P

"They curse by using God's name in vain........Why would you use someone's name that you don't believe exists?"

I have heard people say holy moly. Does this mean they believe in a moly?

"AND....I have seen two atheist cry out to God from their death bed from a terminal illness.....

That says a lot to me "

It does to me too. That you are either lying to prove your standpoint or two people who died cried out. What does this prove? exactly nothing. And I tend to believe you are lying to "strengthen" your stance.

Can you prove that you do believe in God? I don't think that you can prove anything that is in someone's mind, at least not with our current scientific technology. ;)

They can't prove that there is no God, obviously, (especially since there is) but I don't think your question works, really. See above.

Not trying to offend you, just pointing out.

I think it's easier to prove there is no god than to prove that there is one, it's called common sense

Hey, I am a Muslim.

I have a lecture for everyone who wants proof of Almighty God. It is by the brilliant Muslim scholar, Dr. Zakir Naik. He proves Almighty God’s existence by using some of the many scientific verses in the Qur’an. Scientists are recently discovering these facts, but they were already in the Qur’an 1400 years ago! Please listen to the lecture. It is worth your time.

Thank you for your time.

There's no question that anyone consigned to a certain set of beliefs can prove their allegiance to it. The task is convincing others that their beliefs are valid.
