According to my religious beliefs, the destroyers of false hope are the true messiahs. If I am only doing what my religion says I should do, I am no better or worse than a Christian who acts on the call to "go tell it on the mountain".

Am I and the people like me here to pick on Christians because we are hurt from things in our past and just lashing out?
I think not.

Am I here to break down the walls which hide and protect potentially capable minds from thinking logically and rationally?
I think so.

Why then must I constantly and repeatedly have to respond to the same crap about "you're just here to pick on people, you big meanie"?
I am not here to attack the believers; I come to attack the fallacious reasoning used by so many believers to support their fairy tale beliefs.
I am not attacking physically, and I am not at your door presenting something that MUST be dealt with or faced in some way.
I am 1 click away from disappearing from your screen.
Yet I am a bully?

I'm a Catholic, and as a Catholic, I know that nobody's perfect, and I'm no different. I've done things that I'm not proud of, things that I would change if given the chance. Even after going to confession, these deeds still eat away at me and I feel like my soul is deteriorating. It's very painful. I know that God would forgive me, but I can't seem to forgive myself or let myself forget. I also know that if anyone close to me ever found out, I'd lose their respect. How do I ease the pain? How can I forgive myself and stop thinking about the things I've done wrong in the past?

Or have you taken the time to read the entire Gospel account of scripture from the Tenach yourself and then you made the decison yourself from what you read that he wasn't the Messiah by what the Prophets wrote in the OT?

The reason I ask this because most folks who say they don't believe Jesus is the risen Messiah never read the Gospel or know the Old Testament Prophecies stating he is the Messiah

Do you assume that the Scientists and reporters are purposefully trying to undermine your belief system?

Do you believe they are lying to try and confuse you?

Do you believe they went to school for many years to learn how to hid the truth about God? Or are they really just trying to help the human race with understanding?

Considering how much Science has given us as humans, through Medicine, Technology, Shelter, Food Production, Exploration, can you explain why you could believe that science is trying to harm the human race and lead mankind astray?

Soemtimes Christians who oppose what I say will claim that my motivation for saying X is because I am angry. They say this in attempt to dismiss validity from my argument(s). First of all, I may or may not be angry, but I do not see how that should make a difference. A good point is a good point no matter how I feel inside. Second, why is anger assumed to be such a bad thing? Being angry can lead to behavior that is wrong or unacceptable, but that does not necessarily mean that the anger itself is bad. Does not the god of the Christians allow himself to become angry if he finds it necessary? If God can do it and still be without sin, how can it be sinful for anyone else? If it is not sinful, how can it be wrong to the Christian?

Zach de la Rocha says that "anger is a gift." I would say that anger could be just as much of a curse as it can be a gift. It is what you make of it that counts.

Even though I went to a Catholic high school I never understood this. Why do Catholics pray to Mary (Hail Marys) if it says in the Bible:

"I am the way the truth and the life; NO MAN cometh unto the Father BUT BY ME." -- Jesus Christ (John 14:6)

Why waste your time praying to Mary when you could just pray to Jesus and God? Can you explain that part to me please?

If you knew your children would live in comfort for 1 hour and then die slowly in horrible pain over the course of the next 10 years, would you still have them? Isn't this kind of like what God is doing with atheists? Discuss amongst yourselves.

If you believe the whole Adam and Eve thing, then why did God mess up so badly with them? Do you think he had an off day? Do you think there are worlds where he made an Adam and Eve who were obedient and smart and incorruptible, rather than disobedient and stupid and weak-willed? That would have saved an awful lot of unpleasantness, wouldn't it?

Before you get your feathers ruffled on this let me just explain why I said this and then have at it..;)

The Pagan beliefs that were many were pretty much everywhere on earth with the exception of the Judeans who were captive by the Egyptians and without divine intervention they would of remained in captivity, but a Monotheistic GOD had a plan and that was to show himself that GOD thier is only 1 no others exsist, and he could only accomplish this task with the Jews because they were the only people who believed this...

If Jesus never came to earth if the Gospel of Monotheism never was preached what would we have today.??.A Small group of people who believed in a Monotheistic GOD and the rest of the world Pagan because many of you just said No reason to convert so the pupose of your faith is not spread Monotheism unless it's part of your group that is what it sounds like you are sayin...

If GOD doesn't have ONE purpose for all of mankind then does he have any at all?

A question not recognized {I use to but you saved me?} What did I do? A lot of things like sin and die in the World but overcame sin through Glory. Glory being that 1 unbelieving Name whom saves all Jesus Christ. Our Father {God Almighty} & the Holy Spirit 3 in 1. So was it I? No it was we. For it goes like this. {I once was lost & now I'm found' Twas blind, but now I see. Leviticus 6:4- when he thus sins and becomes guilty, he must return what he has stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to him, or the lost property he found. Luke 15
The Parable of the Lost Sheep

Let's first describe how TRUE free will works...

Remember the game show Let's Make a Deal?

You NEVER KNOW what's behind the doors. There might be a new car, or there might be 200 cans of cat food. Monte Hall always gives you the option... keep what you have, or trade for one of the doors. You're not coerced. The choice is entirely your own.

Now here is the Christian god's "free will"...

God TELLS YOU that behind door #1 is a great prize (heaven), and behind door number #2 is eternal torment (hell.) He SUGGESTS you choose door number one, but you are given the option to choose door number 2 if you prefer burning. You can opt to not choose either door, but only temporarily, because before you leave the studio you'll be forced to choose door #2 anyway.

Now, what have we learned? We've learned that god's free will isn't actually free will at all, it's COERCION because the ONLY options you're given are eternal pleasure, or eternal pain.

You're never allowed to not play.
