Once you come to the complete understanding, about satan, and who he is, what he is, and what he wants to accomplish; put into perspective, it does seem like atheism is spreading like a desiese. Satan is the father of all lies, and atheism is a big lie from him, with a sole purpose to lead Gods children astray, Then I would say yes, but atheism does not come from God.
I would suggest finding a Christian mentor, who can help you understand this and guide you in right direction.
And about passing deseases on to children, I would say let God handle that, because for one not all deseases are transmitted to children anyway. And who knows, ones that are, medical science could find a cure, that would allow that child to grow up and have a normal life.

Very hard question. If you had knowledge that the purpose of life was to come to earth to gain a mortal body, and to prove our faith in God, then by having said children, you would be allowing that opportunity of earth life to happen for your child. Even if it meant that they would have a disease. You would know that they would be accomplishing part of God's plan for us all to have a mortal body. If you believed that gaining a body was important to your child's salvation, then it would as such and not as anything else.
Still, I do not know if that could be easily done, knowing that they would get the disease. It would take a lot of faith and courage.

I won't have children regardless of their potential health. Kids are for fools. Sorry, but I don't understand the question in the context you put it since I have no love for children.

The question is lame, because God's command (be fruitful and mulitply) doesn't need any justification from you. Children are wonderful, and a gift from the Lord.
