I live as I please, have never commited a crime, and take care of my family. I do not believe any of the religions to be true. My personal life is my own business and would probably be enough to send some of you to therapy. If someone wishes to discuss religion, I'm all for that. If someone wants to preach at me, and does not stop when I tell them to, they're paid for. I value life more than most of those who actually wrote the scriptures, but will lose no sleep over taking it away in the right circumstances. I respect those who show respect, and consider those who do not show common courtesy less than dogs. I believe that if there is a hell, it is reserved for religious people who drive others away from their religion through their own ignorance. I also believe that the majority of the population doesn't have the intellect to discuss emotional issues rationally. I still don't understand why anyone would push their beliefs to the point of destroying any interest the listener may have.

Archeologists found that a major portion of the theory has come into major question after a recent find.

Any thoughts of how to reconcile this or does evolution theory have a hole?

Eventually and even now the original theory has been debunked to many times to have a solid foundation. So through new findings the family tree has to be re vamped. If it was fact it would never change. So how can it be both ways, without a bunch of new theories in the name of re-testing itself, be fact in the first place. You really do need much more faith in evolution than the consistant fact of creation. Look at the new findings always thwarting the old theory, and testing and re-testing and re thinking of ways to keep the faith alive. This is what the so called intellctual part of this belief comes from, alway thinking of ways to keep evolution alive. That re creating evolution again and again is the only true evolution taking place. There is no solid foundation, and without that, the house falls. Well the house has fallin and all you are doing is rummaging through the rubble of fallen theory trying to rebuild with an occasional new 2x4 that does not fit anywhere. Fact is not fact!

I believe that GOD was created, along with the universe, in the BIG BANG theory. I don't think I believe he created the universe, instead I believe that GOD was created with it. I believe that GOD is an extremely high functioning entity, way beyond humans. Any thoughts on this?

Then why ask us questions? Why do you then report us for abuse? We all have a right to be here so, get your trigger finger off the abuse button & stop the hate. "Cod " wouldnt like all the hate you project onto Atheists.

Have you ever noticed that Harry Potter acts as a Christian allegory in many ways? For example, the Phoenix is often used as a symbol for Christ, as it is the resurrection bird, and it is the phoenix that gives Harry the strength to defeat the serpent in so many instances. Also, moving on to the final book, Harry makes the ultimate sacrifice of his life to save the lives of countless others from ultimate evil, only to be resurrected, as a sort of his reward for his sacrificial nature. Hmm, does it remind you of someone? The themes of sacrificial love, the Lion of Gryffindor, Harry’s parents sacrifice, and redemption are seen throughout the series. Living righteously in a world filled with evil and darkness is one of the major concepts of the book.
I am unsure of Rowling’s motivations for echoing Christianity in her books, or whether they were intentional or not, but I definitely don’t see it as Anti-Christianity. Perhaps it was to appease the Christian readers?

" Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" This is from 2Corinthians 6:14 in the Bible.

Does this not mean that you should not marry non christians?

In other words, If He wanted to take today, August 9, 2007, and suddenly make it August 9, 1907, could He do it? And if He could, what do you suppose His reason for doing so might be...? Also, how do you think the current population of planet earth would be affected if it were suddenly thrust back in time 100 years? The reason I ask this is, I always thought that the past was lost forever and could never be retrieved...Am I right or wrong?

As well as the Major Quake in Indonesia and the one that hit Mexico ALL in one week...
What is going to take for people to understand that being an OStrich is not going to make this world better....Maybe I sound like the Doomsday preacher, but actually I truly want everyone to get thier heart right with GOD and realize MAN cannot control everything in life and the bigger picture is GOD and having people depend on him not Man for a better world, a world we will all be laughing never arguing and debating on the Yahoo R&S Site again...
Won't that make you happy?

do you want God to make your choices for you and for others...
its really funny when they say "if God is real why does A or B happen"...but they don't believe in God...so should i blame bad things that happen on He-man...
i believe in God/Jesus and bad things do happen...but Jesus never said life would be easy...He only said He would never leave us...its alway us who leaves Him...and them blame God for every bad thing that happens...
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

...shows that two species of early human ancestors lived at the same time in Kenya. That pokes holes in the chief theory of man's early evolution — that one of those species evolved from the other.
And it further discredits that iconic illustration of human evolution that begins with a knuckle-dragging ape and ends with a briefcase-carrying man
