- Ephesians 5:24.

Also, 1 Peter 3:1 & 2:

"Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, THAT EVEN IF SOME DO NOT OBEY THE WORD, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear." (caps for emphasis)

QUESTION - Christian ladies, what exceptions are there to submitting to a saved or unsaved husband's God-given headship in marriage ? Please give appropriate Scripture to support your view.

Thanks in advance for your replies. Bless you.

After all the mother carries the baby and is the primary care taker of the baby. Also more often the not baby's blood is same as the mothers blood.
So why male blood line and not female bloodline.

Am I making any sense here?

I think Pagans had the right idea~!

At first, Tefahot residents received Christina with open arms when she arrived at the moshav to look for a home, assuming that she had just made aliyah. After finding out that she was in fact a Christian from Romania, and her husband a Druze from the Galilee, residents began making threats.

“The moment they found out he was Arab, the threats began,” Christina said. “They informed me that they wouldn’t accept the young children to the kindergarten, and they wouldn’t allow them on the school bus.

“One of the neighbors said rocks would be thrown at us, and another neighbor threatened to burn down the house with the children in it,” Christina added.

The two violent attacks on the house prompted its landlord to cancel the contract she had signed with the Khatibs. “This is sheer racism. The moshav wants to supervise which people live in it,” the landlord said.

I just finished "The Handmaids Tale" by Margaret Atwood.

This is a book about a society taken over by religious nut jobs. Sex outside of marriage is a hanging offense unless a man of power is assigned a handmaid. Her only purpose is procreation.

Once a month they have intercourse with the handmaid laying back on the wife, and the wife holding her hands, the theory being the 3 become one. No touching other than necessary and very clinical. It is called "The Ceremony".

I can see Pat Robertson endorsing outlawing sex. Can't you?

I always heard the Catholic Church said pain during childbirth was punishment for Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden. So do they frown upon or allow medication that eases the pain? Show your source if possible.

Have been wondering about this, since so many of the atheists have stated that belief in God is a rejection of science, or have gone farther and written that believing in God is same as Santa, easter bunny etc. Am sure there are believers who have won this award - refuse to believe the accusation that my accepting God's gift of grace means I have divorced my intellectual ability to ask questions.

This isn't a typical "Windom Earle" post so don't expect to laugh. (Unless you're laughing at me.)

Aren't all the supporters of evolution glad that we don't dogmatically adhere to our beliefs? Personally, I think it's so cool that we can believe in a theory that allows for modification based on new pieces of evidence.

It's also really cool that an article like this can support evolution while simultaneously improving the theory. I'm glad that we can use new pieces of evidence to make our scientific theories more accurate.

Apparently, some people think this is a flaw of science. Does anybody who believes that is so care to explain how that works? Because I don't understand how modification is a flaw.

These fossils are 1.5 million years old, so why is it that they are okay to use in an argument against evolution, but not in an argument against the Creation, which states that the Earth is only 6000 years old?

Why are they okay to use as evidence for only your side of the story?

My in-laws are Methodist..they just recently started back to church, my husband was baptized methodist but has not been to church in 15+ years, he is not practicing nor does he have any religious affiliation. I myself am Roman Catholic, practicing, and my husband and I decided together that our children will be raised Roman Catholic.
Here come the in-laws, they know I'm Roman Catholic yet they send their Preacher to my home unannounced to convert me into their church. They repeatedly ask to take my son to their church. These people are not "godly" they do not represent christianity in the least. They are a bunch of rowdy, rude, individuals, with no respect for my religious beliefs nor any tolerance for others who differ from themselves spiritually or even racially.
What would you do? Would you limit the contact with your child and yourself from these whacko's? I don't have any problems with other religious beliefs whatsoever & it was very hurtful that they felt the need to do this

Latest research shows that Home Erectus lived side by side with Homo Habilis. So, it could very well be that the fossilized bones that scientists had earlier looked at belonged to a genetic freak rather that of normal people who lived in those days. If they had found fossilized bones of a pygmie, wouldn't they have made the same wrong assumptions?

I have a serious question to ask, especially the people that deny GOD.. What accomplishment is going to prevent calamity in a science book?
I am well versed in Earthquakes living in California all my life.. The POINT is earthquakes especailly the ones becoming very active right now on the RING OF FIRE can destroy life in a matter of seconds The extreme weather conditions right now are killing people daily...The Information age has been able a way for the world to know GOD, and the salvation of Jesus Christ and that is when Jesus said all hell would break out on earth..

My question is why you don't seeme to have any concern about the world getting worse and people dying from the extreme weather.. My concern is they are right with GOD before they die and the end comes..
