Jake,
I used to be fascinated with the possibility of aliens. Part of me still is. But I also know that it is not spoken of in Scripture.....so now I reject the idea.
But if it ever happened to be proven as true....it wouldn't shake my faith. It would simply strengthen it....knowing that my God is able to do anything.

It really has nothing to do with being a christian or not. Some christians believe in aliens, some don't. It's not a question about religion I think. Personally, I believe in aliens but if it's proven that they don't exist that won't make me change anything. Best of luck!

The bible states literally everything that God created in the six days he created the heavens and the earth...and anything that exists therein. If God created aliens...it would have said so.
Everything that's in the bible is in there because it is word you need for every aspect of your life.
If the bible doesn't say he created aliens....then they don't exist.
All forms of life coexist here on this planet that he created for us.
And everything He created was for us. Simply put...he wouldn't exclude aliens...if they didn't exist. The bible says not to add on to the word of God or take anything away from it.
Therefore by adding onto the word of God by saying or even suggesting that aliens exist is a mockery....
He doesn't want that done.

no, i don't believe in aliens. no, it wouldn't contradict my spiritual beliefs, but i very very seriously doubt that they will ever be proven to exist. and no, i'm not the least bit offended by the question. it's interested to see what others think.

I've always been a little confused by the term "aliens." If you mean little green men from Mars, no I don't believe in that. But if you mean the possibility of life on other planets, yes, I do believe and it has nothing to do with my Christian faith.

Not a problem for my beliefs. I don't "believe" in aliens per se, but I don't discount the possibility that God created life elsewhere in the universe. It doesn't even require that much of a stretch for me to think it is possible that he created another Garden of Eden on a far-away planet and that his creation there did NOT eat the bad apple (knowledge of good and evil) but they did eat the good apple (tree of life)! Perhaps all the talk of "heaven" is really talking about a kingdom on a planet far, far away when other "men" that God created "in his image" live in harmony with God and with his creation...and he would like to take us there.

No I don't believe in aliens. And nothing would move me off my belief that the bible is the inspired word of God.

Why is this question only for Christians? You should ask how many people believe in aliens?!

No, I don't believe in aliens. There's no way to prove they do exist because they don't. :)

I am uncertain if there are aliens. We haven't proven their existence, but we haven't proven that they don't exist either.
To my knowledge, their existence doesn't contradict anything in the Bible, therefore it does not contradict my beliefs.
