No,Adam and eve were created as humans.That's why they were called man not animal.They were created in the likeness of God and God is not,was not,nor ever will be a monkey.

The author never described the physical characteristics of the Adam and Eve characters, except to say they were image of the primary God character.
Evidently the physical charactistcs of all three characters were unimportant to plot development.

Uhm, I doubt it. Baboons, monkeys and apes look precisely like what they're. we are guy. God does no longer make human beings look as though baboons and say they have been made in His image, if after some hundred generations guy formed to look as though we do immediately.
