In other words, If He wanted to take today, August 9, 2007, and suddenly make it August 9, 1907, could He do it? And if He could, what do you suppose His reason for doing so might be...? Also, how do you think the current population of planet earth would be affected if it were suddenly thrust back in time 100 years? The reason I ask this is, I always thought that the past was lost forever and could never be retrieved...Am I right or wrong?

Remember, God can do anything but fail and save everyone. If He enables someone or the Government to invent a time machine, He has a definite reason for it.
Besides some things are meant to be lost forever.

Not only is timetravel impossible, we are 9 million miles away from where the earth was 100 years ago.

no, no "god" could turn back any of our manmade clocks or time itself... why? because "god" does not exist.
