I understand that some of the Jehovah Whitnesses beliefs are different than other christians. Could someone please explain why they don't celebrate birthdays or christmas and any other different beliefs as opposed to other christian based religeon? I'm truley curious about the religeon... please help.

o.k Do you belive in prayer? I pray to God and I recive wisdom differant then the understanding of my brothers and sisters. I fight all the time with them, Everyone the pastors, to my mom and friends. The bible to them for ex says the #2. For me the bible says for Ex too. They only see the Ex #2, and they do not see my Ex too. I with my God see thereEx #2, But I fallow Ex too. Do you understand this so far? we see the same bible, but we get differand ideas. So I fight and fight with everyone.

So I bring it to God, I get my way the answer is Ex too. I have been shown visions and dreams, and I have heard his voice. He keeps encuraging my Ex too. But the christians say There God gets Ex #2. But show me nothing from there God to persaye me, other than the whole family's united with ex #2.

so the question is, would you fallow your ex too cuss you have been seeking God about it. Your God says yes you are correct they are all blind. Or fallow all your fammily and say your God is evil?

Is the phrase, "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" meant to be used as a standard sentence, or as a limiting statute?

Obviously, there did not exist the well-defined courts system we use today, but what further references in the Bible can show how God wants us to punish one another?

As a limiting statute, there would be no opportunity for victims to obtain compensation for pain and suffering, as damages would be limited to costs incurred.

Is it that the concept of reparations simply did not include the pain and suffering inflicted by those convicted in those times?

Does the bible say anything about how he got into heaven in the first place? Or what he was like on earth before he went to heaven?

I'm not a religious person, and I haven't studied the Bible, but this seemed like a bit of contradiction of the infallibility of God.

Those who are made known about Jesus and reject Him will not be saved. I remember reading this but can't recall the specific verse. Can anyone confirm this? And at the second coming when people see Jesus arriving, if you repent at that very moment when you see Him coming, would you be saved?

They were not calling me a Wiccan-type witch, but a story book witch. You know, broom riding better be scared or I'll cook you in my oven type. Now a guy I work with calls me Medusa and "demon child." I've found out that a lot of the women in my family have been accused. Just out of curiosity, do you and your family get accused of this stuff a lot? What do you think of my being accused of this stuff?
