Is it okay then to ban islam from being practised in say Italy?

Because Saudi Arabia is a theocracy, and theocracies are inherently silly.
No, it would not be ok to ban Islam in Italy. The fact that it's ok to be a Muslim in Italy is one of the reasons why Italy is better then Saudi Arabia. Removing that reason would make Italy worse. Get it?
Secular law FTW.

Only in Western countries and Israel is it acceptable to be of a different religion.
Did you know our troops are not even allowed to have Bibles? Or display our Flag? We are over there covering their butts, and we cannot even wear our flag on our uniform in some of those countries.
There is no freedom of religion in these Arab Muslim Middle Eastern Countries. They and the Muslims in the USA should have no right to speak as far as I am concerned.

properly, the Prophet Muhammad sal Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam stated to expel the mushrikeen (which include the Jews & the Christians) from the Arabian peninsula. the in basic terms ones who were left there have been those who had a treaty with the Muslims before this ruling got here down (yet they were ordered out once their side broke the treaty - because then the treaty isn't any longer valid).

it's sort of like that you can't get married if you are gay thing. You can't be a Saudi citizen if you are not Muslim. Sucks for you.

This world is still slowly paddling away from barbarism. In my lifetime I will not see many things I desire to see including more tolerance among the religious.

why you want to practice religion any way? Islam is like one package for all Abraham religions so if you practice Islam you fulfill the Abraham covenant.
