Now that we have science to explain things rather than religion how much longer do you think it will be until atheists become the majority in the United States? the northeastern United States?

Soon... Lookie how it's goin'! ... With the ToE, Big Bang Cosmology and much more, the upshot is that we’ve gone from relatively few to huge numbers in less than 150 years.

We find (roughly) the percentages of Atheism for certain countries: Vietnam – 81%, Sweden - ~65%, Denmark – ~65%, Norway – ~64%, Japan – ~65%, the Czech Republic – ~58%, Finland – ~51%, and so on. China has ~150,000,000 atheists, while Russia has ~44,000,000, Germany has ~36,000,000, France has ~28,000,000, the U.K. has ~22,000,000 and even little Canada has ~8,000,000 atheists (lots more of course). There are up to 26,000,000 atheists in the States. Given these numbers and associated growth, it becomes apparent that atheism is just thriving. Hopefully, the current trend will even accelerate! ... The States will come along... you'll see - 26 M now, 260 M tomorrow.

LOL@ science explains everything.. Science TRYS real hard to explain everything but there's way too many holes in their theories for me to ever gets sucked in hook, line and sinker. As long as people can think "out of the box" and not put limits on an unfathomable universe and what all possibilities are, people will always believe God exists, particularly because believing is how God gets the IN to reveal himself -faith.
Be blessed.

when people start realizing that thinking outside the box is not a crime.......do you believe that many christians i have met say "why should i bother to study evolution when the bible gives a different account?" ???? they don't even bother to read it and think they can comment!

that's like trying to comment and find fault with the bible without having the faintest idea what's in it....

Science explains everything? OK, what's the missing link?
How did life come from non-life?

As long as there are foxholes they'll still be some believers.

At the end of the world, maybe the atheist will reign in the world of demons.

I don't think you know quite what it is that you are asking for.
But I am afraid that, if Christians don't start fighting for our Constitutional rights, you just might get it.
May God watch over us all.....
