I've heard this argument as of late, that athiests lack morals. As if we need scriptures to find our moral compass. Could someone please enlighten this poor non-believer with the logic behind this statement?

It's due to open next week and I have to wonder about the effect it will have on American students. They are already significantly behind most of the world in science education and a museum that portrays Adam and Eve co-existing with dinosaurs can't help much..

The museum does apear to be just another outreach ploy on the part of Christians to convert everyone to their way of thinking. "You'll get people into a place like this that you can't get into a church with a stick of dynamite," said founder Ken Ham. "Some will still sneer, some will say we'd like to hear you again and some will actually believe."

And that's the scary part. I can hear children in science class now pointing out that the teacher is wrong because they saw it at the museum and their parents will back them up on that.

But realistically, is there anything that can or should be done about this corruption of science education in the US?

This is what I consider a solid definition of truth: a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like. (Dictionary.com)

How valid can relative/personal truths be when they contradict eachother? If I see crayon that is only one color in its entirety and say that it is black (not that I CALL it black, but that it IS black) and you see the very same crayon and say it is white (not that you CALL it white, but that it IS white) are both our truths correct? (and no, neither of us are color blind)

Please give your answers with your brief statement defining truth.

after doing that is there any point in even seeking after god? I want to do whats right but it seems to me that I've already willed myself against the lord, and cursed myself, and basically cussed him out and told him to leave, when he was obviously sitting there right with me. Do you think that he would ever forgive me? I dont even feel right approaching him anymore, after what I've done? Those are the sins in the bible that are said to be impossible to repent from, and also not forgiven by god, so what should I do? Is there something about this I dont understand?

Like many modern museums, the newest U.S. tourist attraction includes some awesome exhibits -- roaring dinosaurs and a life-sized ship. But only at the Creation Museum in Kentucky do the dinosaurs sail on the ship -- Noah's Ark, to be precise.

The Christian creators of the sprawling museum, unveiled on Saturday, hope to draw as many as half a million people each year to their state-of-the-art project, which depicts the Bible's first book, Genesis, as literal truth

LOL. Does this make any sense to anyone with a brain? Christians explaining science is like asking pedophiles to run a daycare.

Any "religion" that thinks that Joseph Smith should have many wives has to be full of nuts! I can't believe that they are one of the newest religions and yet they have a history of treating women like cattle (polygamy) and they actually have a history of believing that African Americans are less than human. It's no wonder that they were outlawed by the United States government. While the Mormons were living in caves in the desert (like the Arabs that practiced polygamy as well) the American government pressured them into changing their church laws to conform with the laws of Christianity. This Mitt Romney pig has no place in American government. I wonder if his constituents new that he was part of a group like that?

What is the real secret behind it?As the latest devastating and quite embarrassing reality check study about premarital sex in the United States of America have revealed, 95% of all Americans had premarital sex! Now of course, one must take into consideration that out of the 250 million Americans, . This means that almost 100% of the Jews and Christians in the US had sex before marriage!

So why is that? What is it about Christians that makes them so noticeably attracted to pornography, sex, sodomy, homosexuality, lust, drugs, alcohol (thousands die from fatal "drinking and driving" accidents every year), bikinis where 99% of the woman's nakedness is fully exposed, inappropriate clothes, immoral TV and media (their white and black-race music is all about love and sex), violence, gangs, thugs and so on? Why is it that where ever there are Christian dominated societies, these evil things are always at their PRIME?

I've debated Christians long and hard on this subject before, and even demonstrated to them that their bible sings praises and glories about women's vaginas and breasts tasting like "wine", hence it is a book that promotes pornography, but they still insist that Christianity does not promote these things and that it is man that always falls short from the Glory and Will of GOD Almighty. But non-Christians throughout history and throughout the world, including pagans, all combined aren't even close to the Christians when it comes to these evil things!!
