Nope, doesn't matter, and yes it is forbidden.

Magic spells aren't real. If they were, there would be an unfair balance of power between those who know magic spells and those who don't. It would be obvious that the people who knew the spells were in control, yet no public official has ever exhibited the use of magic spells.
Also, James Randi has offered $1 Million to anybody who is able to prove the existence of paranormal activity, ESP/Psychic ability, ghosts, magic spells, etc. for his "paranormal challenge". Nobody had even come close to claiming the prize. (See link below).

Honey, magic to me is nothing more than glorified prayer. It's where you assign a tangible object to the intangible. Faith without works is dead right? At least that's what the Bible says. So what is so wrong with people thinking that magick is "of the Devil." Magick is the "works" part of the equation. When I do a spell, I have faith that it is going to work (faith + works). I haven't been let down so far. I haven't tried any prefab spells so far, so I don't know how they work. I like to write my own. There's something about coming up with it yourself that makes it more powerful. Good Luck!

Dude. There is no 'magic'. There are also no ghosts, psychic power, angels, pixies, elves, vampires, trolls, flying reindeer, spirits, demons, crystal energy resonances, dragons, fortune-telling, reincarnation, heaven, tooth fairies, sins, wizards, time-travelers, alien kidnappers, talking butterflies or functional cold remedies. Please. Get real and join the rest of us in the 21st century.

If you are a Christian, ask a Priest, or ask God in prayer, or read the Bible for answers. Don't seek answers from the devil (meaning someone who will steer you on the wrong path).

*Sigh*
"Magick", as its Wiccan practicioners call it, does not have any "spells" that you would recognize as such. No fireballs, walking brooms, flying carpets, or any of that nonsense. It does have rituals and ceremonies that are sometimes referred to as "spells", though in fact they are nearly identical to Christian prayers in intent and effect.
Despite the xeonphobic screaming from the Christian Right, the practice of Wiccan Magick is no more dangerous than any other mystical path. Magick has just been demonized...primarily out of ignorance.

magic spells exist as a placebo to give people courage to try things they otherwise wouldn't, so I guess you could say they work....

a sinner is as a sinner does: it is only a "sin" if you are negating your spirit's guidance

dont.
repent from your selfishness, and have faith instead. Faith can give the power to cross oceans, and move mountains. sorcery is only for selfish pursuits, and they are passing things anyway. Dont seek hidden powers, repent and have faith.
