Moses brought the Isrealites to the Holy land long ago. They took it from the Canaanites. They lived there until the Romans dispersed them as a nation in the first century. The country of Isreal was reestablish by UN resolution from British protectorate of Palestine. Palestine was the name given to land of Judea after the Romans obliterated the Judean homeland.

Abraham was born in Ur of the Chaldees, which would be somewhere between Iraq and Iran. Then he went to the land of Canaan which is the same land that is know as Israel.
And in "Genesis 12:7And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him". Abraham son Issac and his son Jacob and his twelve sons( which are the forefather of the 12 tribes of Israel) were born in the land of caanan. If you read Exodus chapter 1 the children of Israel multiplied in the land of Egypt.

Judah is one tribe of Israel, one tribe out of 12. Israel was in the land of Goshen, east of Egypt. The 12 tribes of Israel, including Judah (the Jews) went to Egypt where Joseph had become the number 2 man. They settled in Egypt. But after Joseph died, they became slaves. After the exodus they went to the land of Canaan, where much of the same holy land territory is today.

The Jews are descendants of Abraham.
His descendants ended up in Egypt ...as slaves.
They lived mostly in the north-east corner of the country.
After approximately 400 years of that, Moses came along and led them out ....to the Promised Land, that is: Israel.
They stayed there for centuries, then the Palestinians took over.
Now, both fight over the same piece of land.
"It's mine .....No. It's mine."
