Mr. Gibson has been responsible for starring in, and directing some of the most gratuitously violent films in recent history; so how do you think he justifies this in light of what's said at Psalm 11 verse 5, 'The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence his soul hates'

It isn't just Mel Gibson though
Unfortunately, if the demand for violence is there, then the supply is too

Mel directed and starred in films based on history, and history is quite violent, more violent than recent history. He has brought to light how bloody humanity actually is. Mel is not one of the wicked, nor is he violent and hateful.

Hey, stop speaking ill of Mel Gibson. With the father he has, an anti-Semitic wacko and Holocaust denier, how on earth could son Mel have been anything other than what he is, an anti-Semitic scumbag? Re Braveheart, you best ask a Scot what he thinks of it. Do you know kiss-my-er-**** in Scottish
slanguage?

Mel probably justifies it by realizing it is just a movie. A movie over violence is completely different than actual violence. I hope that answers your question.

It's a frickin' movie, not real life. Why don't you pick on those who exploit children for pornographic films and other heinous acts? They need the bashing much more, they are actually hurting people and contributing to the detriment of society!

he might be following things like this:

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly, cursed he who holds back his sword from blood. (Jeremiah 48:10 NAB)

my mom met mel once... a couple years back. she said he was short and old.... he doesnt look nothing like he does on camera.

Your god seems to love violence more than most. Therefore, he must hate himself.
