I'm a Lutheran and wondering which is more thruthful, Lutheranism or Catholicism. I have always thought that Lutheranism is more truthful that Catholicism because I don't believe in praying to Mary because it says in the Bible to pray to God directly. But some Catholics have been saying that Catholicism is more thruthful because Jesus was the one who brought the 7 sacraments and Lutherans don't believe in them all. But on the otherhand, some of the sacraments that Catholics believe don't go with Bible. I'm so confused on which one is right, i just wish that Christians could just be Christians without any denominations like the first ever Christians. Please help!

My seven year old is an intense child. With an incredible sense of correctness, he is artistic and creative. One evening he looked at me very seriously and asked who the woman in his head was that spoke to him. She said he told him to do things. I inquired what things and he looked perplexed and said good things. I told him not to worry. It was probably just an angel. That he did not have to speak to her if he did not feel safe doing so. Was I Wrong to do so?

can anyone describe to me what a hindu temple is like? A girl that I have recently been dating is Hindu and is very religous. She always talks about the local Hindu temple that she attends and I'm completely clueless what hindu temple is like. If someone could please give me some details on the average hindu temple is like it would be greatly appreciated. I feel like a jack@$$ asking her, I'll feel extremely stupid and rude by not knowing what the temple is like that she attends so any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

And older friend of mine told me that he and his friend once did that chant in his bathroom with the lights off and he said her name 5 times and he said after a minute, the mirror glowed red and her face started forming and was looking bloody. He said that when he and his friend got out of the dark bathroom after seeing this, that he was being haunted by her and it only stopped when he and his friends used the Ouja Board.


So if I were in a pitch black bathroom and I say it 5 times, will she appear in the mirror and come after me? The reason I haven't tried it is because what if it's true.

I may be a guy and I may be 28 years old, but I wanna get another opinion on this story.

Has anybody else reported this happening?

If I tried it anyway and was being haunted, what would be the best course of action to take?

If you read Numbers 20 or Exodus 17 you will see a picture of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Moses strikes the rock with a rod and water came out.

Throughout the scriptures God likens Himself as a solid Rock. Isaiah 44:8, Psalm 18:31, Psalm 18:46 Jesus Christ Himself is considered the "chief cornerstone". Acts 4:10-11
Thus when Moses struck the rock this was a picture of how Jesus was smitten for our sins and transgressions that eternal life may freely flow from Him.

Water in the scriptures is symbolic of the gospel that gives eternal life. John 4, Ephesians 5:25-26 Thus through the death of Christ comes forth the gospel of eternal salvation that all may freely partake and live.

Notice that in the scriptures water came out of Christ after the crucifixion. John 19:33-35 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.

We hear about some "sins" a lot on here. Primarily homosexuality. My question is - if all sins are equal, why don't we hear about being judgmental, spreading gossip or being slothful NEARLY as much as we hear about the gay thing.

Or, are all sins not equal? If so, why is homosexuality "worse"? Christ was silent about homosexuality but had a lot to say about judging your neighbor.
