There is NOT oil on all planetary bodies, as oil is a product of biological processes which means a necessity for the existence of life. Even if there were, it would be hopelessly uneconomical to recover it and return it to earth; even gold bars, sitting on the surface and waiting to be picked up, would not be economical to get. The transportation bill is on the order of a million dollars a pound.

Ask this in the science section, retard.
But, to answer the question, the moon does not have oil. At least, it shouldn't, by our understanding of it. Oil is the compressed remnants of ancient life, and there was no ancient life on the moon. So, either our understanding of the moon is flawed, or there is no oil there.

The simple answer is that the man on the moon has already developed nuclear weapons so America will leave the moon alone. Nobody wanted to know about the moon when their only export was cheese.

Lemme guess: sometime back in the - what, 50s? - some ignorant person told you SCIENCE had said there was oil in all planetary bodies - is that it?
And now you're using this to demonstrate that all scientists got poopy pants - am I warm?

Maybe you should go back to school. Oil is a fossil fuel, it comes from the remains of carbon organisms under imense pressure and heat over millions of years. On the moon there are/ have never been any carbon based organisms (plants, animals etc.) therefore no fossil fuels.

Surely there can only be oil where there has been vegetation as it is a fossil fuel. Do we have any evidence for vegetation on the moon?

If they go to the moon to get oil, they could refine it into gasoline and then use it as fuel to get back home. Oh, wait a minute ...
