I did. Not today, but last night. I work on Sunday and so attend church on Saturday night.
I have two jobs. Yesterday, I had to go to my weekday job and finish up a couple of projects before going to my weekend job, requiring me to get up at 4:45 AM. Got up, went to job 1, went to job 2 for 9 hours, then went to church.
I serve as part of the media ministry at my church. I direct lights and video. (We offer a video feed of the service that can be seen in the cry room and the nursery.)
I actually fell asleep during the last 15 minutes of the sermon. Not because it was boring, but because I was exhausted and had been on the go for 14 hours. I hope my pastor didn't wander out of the frame during that time.

It was I or someone like me. I have a vocally trained voice and often when a song touches me I sing very softly along with the music. I have been known to sing parts when the choir is singing. I think it is so very soft but apparently others can hear for I do project my voice as trained. Meaning no disturbance to others but it is no more than raising my hands or saying amen when I agree with a point. I am sure others are touched much in the same way, I know I have heard them. We worship God in that moment of oneness with him even if the other may hear, we are alone with our thoughts and our voice with God. Some of my most cherished times have been those when I with my voice was responsive to his touching of my soul. I pray one day to experience a congregation reaching that some point of oneness. Do not despair nor give credit to something that is not happening, at least not likely. When God desires to move all will know.

Dear Kelibyte,
True Christians will not be in church anymore because the church age ended in 1988. This year marked the 13,000th anniversary of the earth. This is also the year (1988) that the Great Tribulation period began. In 2 Thessalonians 2 the Lord tells us that the man of sin (satan) is now ruling in ALL the local churches and the Holy Spirit has departed. Therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be saved in any church regardless of the accuracy of the preaching. Those who remain in the churches are being sent a strong delusion by God that they would believe the lies of satan. God gives us further explanation of this in Revelation 18, Matthew 24, Jeremiah, Ezekiel 9, to name a few.
The best thing a person can do is to come out of the church, read your Bible, and pray that God might have mercy on you. From the inforamtion we have in the Bible, 2011 seems to be the year that Christ may return.

No. I listened to every word. It was about the gospel being sent to the gentiles. That includes me, and I'm very grateful for it.
