It seems that wherever the British have gone(I am from England) they have raped and robbed-then left and created more mayhem and murder than is humanly possible. Or was it just that the countries they go to are inhabited by races that are weak and needed to be ruled?(that is not meant ot be provocative ....hee hee.
I am not complaining as it has meant that the place I grew up in is one of the richest in the world-due to the fact that they veni ,vidi, vici .

I can't stand a woman who shakes her butt around and thinks every male within a 50 mile radius wants her.

Some Christians believe in speaking in tongues. (If you do not know what I am talking about, you probably won't want to answer this question.) I have attended hundreds of religious events where Christians would speak in a language I could not understand or even recognize as being an actual language rather than babble. Every single one of them who does this claims that it is REALLY the holy spirit causing this to happen.

Here's my question: What is happening?

A) They are faking it and lying
B) Something is actually happening, and they are not intentionally lying
C) Other (If so, please explain)

How does it feel? Have you ever felt a similar feeling in a nonreligious context? Any possibility that your'e confusing this feeling with a natural emotional reaction to music or a feeling of closeness to people around you, or a strong emotional experience, etc??

If we're not animals or advanced primates how would you explain that we reproduce and have a similar genetic composition to a chimpanzee? Please don't use your faith as an argument, I want logical reasoning with evidence

The entire belief in Creationism is that a genie popped out of nowhere and blinked her eye to create a man and a woman out of nowhere. Except the man gave birth to the woman thus ending the debate over evolution.

A sinner will say this: yea great seeker that sucks to never hold my wife again in heaven if I had a God like that. To me shows me he loves her?

A christian will say this: there has to be something better in heaven then my wife great seeker. I'm not worried( as he shows no love to his wife before me) In heaven we will love everything, don't need to worry about it.: They show me no love what so ever toward there wifes to me. There happy to be a angel( I think out of fear they r programed this way): why cant one christian, I MEAN ONE FRIGGEN CHRISTIAN, say to me cuss u r my brothers and sisters in the name of love, say I don't know why, I wish I could love my wife in heaven.

simple way to say I love my wife, and I wish never have to forget her.

1 Cor 7:29 but this I say, brethren, the time is short:it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none

may be they don't want to feel sad???

Genetics:

Here is an analogy:
Take a document and make 2 photocopies. Then take those two copies to separate machines and copy them 1000 times, each time feeding the new copy into the machine. Little imperfections will begin appear on each of the two isolated sets that will be "passed on" to future copies. Now make two copies of each final page and repeat the 1000 copies of each of those. If you take your 4 final sheets and mix them up, it would be easy to re-group the two pairs that came from the same parent document, based on a comparison of accumulated changes.

This is what is done with DNA. Simply due to imperfections in copying, changes accumulate in untranscribed regions of DNA molecules. I'm talking about DNA that is not used to code for any protein - so this measure of relatedness is not due to a structure-function relationship, and these changes have zero effect on the organism.

This piece of evidence is often termed the "molecular clock"

The City of Philadelphia has recently closed down approximately 16 "psychics" shops, due to a 30 year old law on the books that makes it a misdemeanor to perform psychic readings for profit.

NOT ONE PSYCHIC ever saw this coming - despite the law being on the books for 30 years, and despite their "powers" to read the future - at least, to read their very own futures!!

Do you see now that psychics are fake???

Serious question. Have you ever believed very strongly about something, and then realized you were wrong in your beliefs?

If so, did you admit this to the person, etc...that pointed out your error?
