Serious question. Have you ever believed very strongly about something, and then realized you were wrong in your beliefs?
If so, did you admit this to the person, etc...that pointed out your error?

How can anyone who is devoted at all to growth ever say no to this question? I have been wrong on many occasions, not only about the truth, but also in the presentation of truth, that is, not in a loving manner. The Bible says to "speak the truth in love." I know a good example of a guy who set up a forgiveness booth at a prominent liberal University. People got a kick out of it and came in to see what he would say. When they sat down he said, "I want to repent to you for all the wrong I've done to you, for not sharing the truth clearly, for not doing it out of love, for 2000 years of Christian history that is fraught with mistakes, errant fanaticism and abuse. I'm sorry. I humbly ask for your forgiveness."
Needless to say, the response was overwhelming.

I used to be a Fundamentalist. When I realized that Fundamentalism, indeed all Protestantism, was illogical, I admitted I was wrong and left.

I used to believe very strongly in a pre-tribulation rapture;
that has proven through further study of the Word to be not likely.

Yes i use to think Christians could not have fun, so that's when I became a fundamentalist

Yup ... and now I'm no longer a Christian ... just last week I had a good talk with the person whom I had previously tried to convert and told them I was sorry.
