We know that the faithful, the 'elect' will be but a 'remnant', a very small number. We can be reasonably sure then that they will not attend a regular church built by men, with a large international organization. We know that they will read Scripture daily, and pray the 'shma' (Hear oh Israel...)
They will know that the name of God is YHWH, pronounced Ya-hu-ah, and that His only son's name is Yahushuah (Ya-hu-shu-ah).
They will not wear graven images, they will keep the Sabbath holy (Saturday).
They will obey the 10 commandments even though their faith is in the son.
And they will be alone, scattered here and there, crying out like voices in the wilderness 'make straight the path'.
All the rest are but counterfeits set up by Satan to trick you. He appears as if an angel of light, he will trick even the elect, if that where possible.
So stay home every Saturday and start reading your bible, you might be surprised to see where and how powerfully YHWH can lead a heart that truly seeks him.

First of all, I would test EVERY belief that says it is Christian against what the Christians beleive, in the Bible.
Catholics do not accept Jesus as God, and their religion is pagan idolatry.
Mormons deny the Deity of Christ and believe things other than the Bible:
Mormons believe that there are in fact four sources of divinely inspired words, instead of just one. 1) The Bible “as far as it is translated correctly.” Which verses are incorrectly translated are not always made clear 2) The Book of Mormon was “translated” by Smith and published in 1830. Smith claimed it is the “most correct book” on earth, and that a person could get closer to God by following its precepts, “than by any other book.” 3) The Doctrine and Covenants is considered scripture by Mormons, containing a collection of modern revelations regarding the “Church of Jesus Christ as it has been restored.” 4) The Pearl of the Great Price is considered by Mormons to “clarify” doctrines and teachings that were lost from the Bible and adds its own information about the earth's creation
Jehovah's Witnesses :
What do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe? Close scrutiny of their doctrinal position on such subjects as the Deity of Jesus, Salvation, the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, the Atonement, etc., shows beyond a doubt that they do not hold to orthodox Christian positions on these subjects. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Jesus is Michael the archangel, the highest created being. This contradicts many Scriptures which clearly declare Jesus to be God (John 1:1,14; 8:58; 10:30). Jehovah’s Witnesses believe salvation is obtained by a combination of faith, good works, and obedience. This contradicts countless Scriptures which declare salvation to be received by faith (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).
You must test EVERYTHING to find the Truth. Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, and NOONE comes to the Father but by me".
So either Jesus is a liar( and a deluded psychotic) or He IS who he says he is in the Bible.
Here's a good book to answer questions about that:

The only person who could truly say one religion is right and all others are wrong is God. The Bible has been translated and modified but its all you really have at this point unless your willing to learn to read Aramaic and somehow get access to the dead sea scrolls or some equally old document. Read the teachings of Jesus that are available to you and determine if the religion your interested in understands them the same way you do. That is the best you can do if you must have a church.

I tried asking this of a Christian - and all I got was the run around.
Apparently, you should be able to tell if the preacher's ideas are in line with that of God.
So, I guess this means that Fred Pehlps is the One True Religion - after all, he is a hard liner when it comes to the word of God.... Of course, when I pointed this out, I was told that he was not a "real" Christian...
So, it appears that it is impossible for anyone outside of religion to ever "pick" the right religion - as none of them are. Or, All of them are. Truth is, this started right after the death of Jesus, when Paul came along and decided that he would teach his own version of what Christ allegedly taught... The first followers of Christ were devout Jews. Paul changed that.

Yay, a sparkling severe word utilized in a humorous way :D i've got continuously been partial to saying 'thoroughly' whilst it truly is no longer a hundred% valid. besides...... i think of it truly is particularly glaring Christians are only hassle-free and easily biased. What i are not getting is why maximum of persons from different religions, even ones which technically have faith interior the comparable God, are so tolerant and easy-going.. yet maximum of Christians are continuously uptight and refuse to stay and permit stay.

Pray about it.
James1:5-6
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ASK IN FAITH, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
When I was asking this same question 5 years ago I did exactly what James says to do when you lack wisdom. The holy Spirit manifested itself to me & told me which church was the true church.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The one true church of Jesus Christ has to have ALL these things affiliated with it:
Christ organized the Church (Eph 4:11-14)
Must bear the name of Jesus Christ (Eph 5:23)
Must have a foundation of Apostles and Prophets (Eph 2:19-20)
Must have the same organization as Christ's Church (Eph 4:11-14)
Must claim divine authority (Heb 5:4-10)
Must have no paid ministry (1 Cor 9:16-18; Acts 20:33-34; John 10:11-13)
Must baptise by immersion (Matt 3:13-16)
Must bestow the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands (Acts 8:14-17)
Must practice divine healing (Mark 3:14-15)
Must teach that God and Jesus are seperate and distinct individuals (John 17:11; 20:17)
The officers must be called by God (Heb 4:4; Ex 28:1; 40:13-16)
Must claim revelation from God (Amos 3:7)
Must be a missionary church (Matt 28:19-20)
Must practice baptism for the dead (1Cor 15:16&29)
There is only one church in the world that has ALL these & that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A good church is one that is concerned with the spiritual growth of its congregation. It is a place where the Gospel is preached, where sin is condemned, where worship is from the heart, where the teaching is biblical, and where opportunities for ministry (to minister to others as well as to be ministered to) exist. Consider the model of the early church found in Acts 2:42-47 (NIV), "They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer.

Mr Blue,
The True Church of GOD or Church of CHRIST follows the New Testament and has done so irregardless of what the ideas of man are. They follow the scriptures and do not stray from them. They also encourage their members to read, study, and obey GOD's WORD. They have services on the first day of the week as the First Century Church did. The partake of the LOrd's Supper and give as they have been prospered on that day. They do not elect their church leaders. They have Elders, Deacons, Preachyers, and Teachers as are described in the New Testament.
To become a Christian:
1. We must HEAR GOD’s WORD. - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. We are told to BELIEVE. - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
3. We must REPENT (turn from) of our sins. - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
4. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST before men. - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
5. We are to enter the waters and BE BAPTIZED. - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
6. We are told to CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL until death. - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.
Thanks,
Eds

If you read your bible, you can find the way to salvation, which is the goal of all Christian religions. There may be various ideas and even theologies, but for "Christian" religions, the thread that runs through all of them is "Christ". If we try to look at each one and microscopically dissect it, we will be mystified and confused. If we read the word that God provided us, the bible, we will find what God has directed us to find, his love, his plan for salvation, his plan for our lives. If my religion and that of someone else varies, somewhat, I hope that the true thread will be God's love and salvation through Jesus Christ. God does not say to seek "true religion". He says he has come to seek that which was lost. So that is what we should do - find his way of salvation, and follow it. Read and study God's word, the bible. Learn to find the love that God has provided us. Not to discuss the differences, but to relish what God has given us: his love and his salvation. It is impossible to sift through what man has created, but it is not difficult to understand God's plan. That is simple.

Try not to confuse "religion" with "denomination." Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Catholics, Presbyterians, etc. all practice the "religion" of Christianity. Each "denomination" interprets a slightly different method for its practice.
